Wonderful service, very helpful staff.
My 1st. Visit to this office. Very friendly and professionl staff on duty. Well maintained and following Covid19 protocols.
We have a land in Marmora and Lake and paid their taxes on the due date through the bank as we always do with other Municipalities. I was surprised to note they charged interest for late payment. Called them and their explanation is "We must receive payment on the due date" I told them that we pay the same way to City of Toronto and other municipalities. I told them the due date is when you pay at the bank just like credit cards. If the due date is 10th and we pay it on the tenth no interest. The woman told me when she pays her credit card like that she gets late payment charge NOT TRUE. Someone has to wake up and look around or sleep forever! NOT GOOD
