A good place for Asian dessert. The menu has so many choices from Appetizers, noodles to of course desserts . The place is clean, staff is nice and time for our order is reasonable. We will come back when the Government allow to dine-in again. Love the Green Tea Egg Waffle. Mango drink is good, too.
The atmosphere was nice and chill. Regarding the food, all were average, but the shaved ice tasted better than Meet Fresh. Due to its convenient location, we usually come to this place. The bubble tea Taiwanese shaved ice and Japanese teriyaki french fries are our favorites.
I had the mango shave ice and I was surprise on how HUGE it was lol! It's very good but you can definitely share that with 2-3 people. I had to remove 1 star because their water was not good. Seems like the lemon was left there a long time and it tasted weird. Anyways other than that the other desserts were alright!
Came here after dinner for some late night desserts but was super dissatisfied. Omfg I don't even know where to start. Location was small and hard to find. No AC!!! In the middle of summer. Flies everywhere!!! Most good items was sold out on the menu. The drinks wasn't that cold. Super hot with no AC and room temperature drinks.... Omfg. No thanks. Never come again. I added 1 more star,. The mango shaved ice was very good and hit just right.
i had a much better experience at the chinatown location i suggest coming here earlier during the day, because we made the mistake of going later at night and they were sold out of practically everything... the mango with pearl delight was pretty good however, the french fries lacked sauce & were so soft, they almost seemed microwaved.. when we brought it up to the waitress, she was nice enough to deduct the fries from our bill i used to love this location, but i feel like overtime, the quality of the food really went down
After lunch, we decided to try Marmalade de Sucre. They're a Taiwanese chain with another Montreal location in Chinatown. Service is hands off as you order using your phone, yet our order was somehow messed up. - Mango Taiwanese shaved ice TS1 $10.99 - portion is large and perfect to share. Found the shaved ice light in flavour and missing something in its texture. Okay but didn't satisfy. - Black sesame egg waffle J4 $10.99 - egg waffle was better than average. The black sesame ice cream paired nicely with it. - Fresh fruits with black grass jelly mixed cold BG4 $7.49 - our waitress mixed this up and gave us the fresh fruits sago mixed SM4. She rectified the mistake and brought out a separate bowl of grass jelly. Grass jelly lacked texture. The sago was standard and the fruit watermelon and honeydew was uninspiring. Chainy Taiwanese/HK desserts at MdS. Not itching to come back.
A most amazing experience! Reasonable price with amazing quality of dessert. We ordered the green tea shaved ice and a fancy mango drink. The shaved ice quantity was huge! Really authentic green tea flavor with red beans, green tea ice cream and sweetened rice ball, really enjoyable! The mango drink is really cool! Real mango juice with pieces of mangoes, coconut pieces, lots cool tasty surprises for exploring while drinking! Prime location and nice decor. Polite and fast service. Highly recommended!
Its an alright place for Asian dessert and snacks. I have had better. Service was good. I would go again just for the waffles.
One of the very few places in Montreal that offers a vast variety of asian desserts but unfortunately the taste and quality isn’t always there. Their sago and black pearl based desserts are actually good but the accompanying fruits are usually not ripe. Their egg waffle is to be avoided. It’s supposed to be soft on the inside and not dry, crunchy and hard... A recommended item is their fries. It’s freshly made, nicely golden, and oil does not seem to be dirty.
Finally a Taiwanese desert place. I love this type of dessert place because the dishes are beautiful and they have Asian flavours like sesame ice cream, azuki beans and egg sales waffles. Place gets busy so you might have to wait but service is fast once you sit down and desserts were good. Definitely recommend checking it out.
