Very helpful staff, shout-out to Beverly for helping our friends and I book our trip and discuss all the extra options and upgrades. I’m the type that usually books online but this was a great stress free experience that made it worth it especially for a group trip to have everyone on the same flight and resort booking. Definitely recommend!
No, I do not recommend Tracy Sparks, from Marlin Travel.  and I do not recommend Marlin Travel agency, bad service, bad attitude, negligent and mediocre service from Tracy.  No, I do not recommend it, it is not professional, it is not proactive. I recommend doing it yourself through Expedia and you will avoid that aggravation. I never go back there, never ever again. Lots of add on charges to write up tickets only told to you ask you are leaving the office.
Very disappointed with the service received by Leanne. Very friendly person at the beginnin, but once they received the paiment she is not of any help and very rude. We were misinformed all the way and end up loosing a lot of money with them. Never again with Marlin Travel
Very helpful, Pam and Beverly were very helpful in making my travel arrangements. I trust that they will provide me with the best Travel service.
Joella is the best. Hands down. I feel like my trips start when I go in to book. The perfect person to help you on your journey
Our experience with this travel agency was extremely disappointing. We asked for a specific excursion to be booked, when we arrived we are booked something entirely different and were charged in full for the mistake. Our travel agent refused to acknowledged any error or show any remorse. We were denied any refund. We will never use Marlin Travel or any other subsidiary owned by Transat Holidays due to their complete lack of accountability.
Our experience with this travel agency was nothing short of deplorable. It is for that very reason, I’ve decided a review was the right step to take as I would hate to see anyone go through what my wife and I had to endure at the hands of this inept travel agency. Earlier this year, my wife and I, along with several of our friends booked a group vacation to Mexico, we were set to depart in February and cancelled more than one month to departure due to COVID-19 and new restrictions announced by the federal government. In reviewing the paperwork sent to us by Tracy Sparks, our travel agent and through email correspondence we believed we were entitled to a full refund as long as we had given at least a months notice, it was only when we tried to cancel Tracy told us to “read the fine print” which was shockingly never sent to me. Tracy never sent along our complete travel documents. And we had been reassured multiple times, if we just cancelled before the allotted timeframe we would be entitled to a refund. The company even decided to implement a cancelation fee of $100 that was not on correspondence prior to us booking. Things dissolved quickly between us and Tracy so I had no choice but to speak with the owner Leanne Brikas-Mckercher. Leanne was equally unhelpful but decidedly more aggressive and unpleasant. She became irate with me and refused to speak with me once she found out I had spoken to TICO Travel Industry Council of Ontario to help determine what outer rights we’re and legalities surrounding documentation, Leanne told me to “file a complaint with them” and promptly hung up on me, unwilling to discuss a refund. Funny thing is at that time I told TICO I wanted information, they suggested working it out with the two parties prior to the complaint process, nonetheless a complaint has now been filed. I was left with only one option calling MasterCard and requesting a investigations from them. MasterCard ruled in my favour after reviewing all of the documentation and after speaking to Marlin, and my wife and I were given a full refund. All this could have been avoided by paperwork being provided as it should have been and a significantly improved attitude from Marlin. Be beyond cautious with this location, especially before you hand over any amount of money.
MARLIN TRAVEL BEWARE!! Never again!!! Myself and 10 of my family members decided to take our kids on a family vacation that we were extremely excited about. On April 14,2022 we decided to go though an agent to make things easier and less stressful. BOY did we pick the wrong one. It has been nothing but nightmares, headaches and much added stress. Our first agent was extremely helpful, AT FIRST. As soon as we got the trip booked, she was hard to get ahold of. Because once reviewing the itinerary we noticed that she booked us in at the WRONG resort and even put a wrong last name to one of the children. Once we informed her of the mistakes she said she would change it. She did, then booked us in at the resort we wanted but put us in small rooms that our families wouldn’t even fit in. This agent also charged us ANOTHER deposit including cancellation fees on our credit cards. We chose to immediately stop dealing with this one particular agent and talked to the manager. On May 11, 2022 we called the manager, who promised to help us out and agreed that we should get our deposits back. It’s May 26, 2022 and we still do not have our deposits. They claim that #AirCanadaVacations are hard to get ahold of. Our credit cards are OVERDUE now and we’ve had to pay interest on this money and now they aren’t replying to emails as promptly as they used to. Please Note: We have been in touch with Air Canada unsure why it’s so hard for Marlin Travel and they informed us that because it’s a third party booking, that it’s their responsibility to contact them to sort it out. It is completely out of our hands and it feels like everyone is just playing the blame game! UPDATE: 3 MONTH LATER Marlin Travel stopped replying all together We ended up calling the credit card company, where we filed a dispute and now they are doing an investigation on the money as we did not agree to the withdrawal. MasterCard gave us the money we were owed and now it’s their turn to fight with Marlin/Air Canada.
Extremely helpful, very friendly and knowledgeable.. great experience.. special thanks to Beverly Ecke, great agent..thanks again
