Marlene's Floral

I'm not sure if I spoke to the owner or another employee, but whoever I spoke to was extremely rude. I will never order from there again. First they called me and tried to talk me into changing my order because they had "a lot" of another kind of arrangement at the shop already, when I ordered a very specific flower for a very specific reason. I basically had to talk them into not changing my order. Then today I get another phone call and the woman asked for the person who the delivery was for. I said no, this is Lindsay, I placed the order. And the women (I'm guessing Marlene), says "well where do you live." I gave them the address, obviously, for the delivery and she was apparently too lazy to use a GPS and / or look at the house numbers. I told her of course I don't want you to call [person it's delivered for], that will ruin the surprise. So in a very snippy tone she says "fine. but if she's not home, I'm taking it back to the shop." To which I said no, please leave it on the porch. She replied with "fine, but it's very hot out, so you're accepting responsibility," and then she HUNG UP on me! I couldn't believe it! Find a different florist if you 1) want what you ordered, 2) don't want the surprise to be ruined, and 3) don't want the recipient to have to wait all day at their house to get their flowers.

Very rude and unprofessional. My mother ordered flowers for a local funeral...not expecting to be able to attend. Her plans changed, and when she saw the arrangement at the funeral home, she was embarrassed. She was charged $85 dollars for a small vase of nothing but Baby's Breath and white Carnations. "Marlene" had every excuse in the book as to why the flowers were not up to par and had no interest in making restitution. We will NEVER use/recommended this shop

Delivered the wrong bouquet and then complained and yelled at my mother (the recipiant) on the phone about what an inconvience it would be to deliver the right bouquet. The bouquet was supposed to be tulips and roses with some greenery. What she received was greenery with a sprinkle of roses and tulips. She didn't even sub in flowers of equal price. Never use these people. The owner is so incredibly rude if there is an issue.

Just what the other guy wrote. Did not deliver at all, refused to accept responsibility, became unprofessional when confronted with poor performance, AND HUNG UP ON ME! She claims that she did not create the website that identifies same day service or 100% guarantee, and that she was "busy" the day I ordered the flowers (for two days later). This business should not be in business. Totally unprofessional and lacking customer service.

Truly awful. She accepted an order and payment, became irate when asked the status of the order (because it was hours past the stated delivery time), never showed at all, never explained what happened or apologized. I've heard from several other people who have had similar issues with her, or worse. She apparently has been known to hand the phone to her husband, who is downright verbally abusive to any customer with even the slightest issue. Never, ever, ever use this shop.
