We went on weekdays at different times, first around 10ish am, second around noon time. And I was a bit surprised there are quite some people too. The skate shoes rental is only opened on Friday evening till weekends! The place is fairly clean and quite well-maintained! We had family fun here! Some private instructors use here to teach skate lessons!
Just love it. It has big parking lot. There is skate rental. There are benches to sit and change the skates and for people to sit and watch. It is a great outdoor activity for both adults and kids. Great family outdoor activity.
Love this place for ice-skating. They have a zamboni working to keep the link on a good quality. For the skates rental, you gotta pay 15$/2hrs and you need an ID. If the link has some kind of protection covering the round curbside, that would make this place a perfect one for your winter outdoor activities.
Chilly but it's free and music needs better lighting and heated seats outside
Well-maintain and huge skating rink with surrounding benches. The entrance to the skating rink is a walkway between Flato Markham Theatre and Markham Civic Centre where you will find stairs that lead you downstairs to the rink. I enjoyed the loudspeakers with the music!
My kids enjoyed this skating ring, conveniently located, good parking. Well maintained. Only thing not happy with skating shoes Rental, which is quite high compared to other places.
Pretty fun place! Ample amount of parking spaces. Its super fun skating during the winter time. And its really relaxing during the summer time if you want to sit down on benches and chill out in front of the water fountain.
Don't come at 10am when it's snowing, they won't open until the shovel all the snow.
Great place to skate, whether you go alone or in a group. Kids friendly location with outdoor music playing on the speakers. The location, despite being near the road, is tucked away so you feel out of the city. Good lighting throughout for a safe environment. Skate rental is available, as well as sharpening service for a minimal fee, and even skating trainer/support/brace available to rent. The demographic is young, though many children are there too. A lot of benches for available to sit and an indoor heated change room. There's even regular ice resurfacing with a Zamboni, to which finishes within 5-10 minutes.
Good but wish their rentals didn’t cost so much. There are other locations which offer free rentals
