Anytime we are celebrating a special event or just treating ourselves to a restaurant quality meal we ALWAYS get our meats from Market Meats. It is not cheap, but that's not their intent. They sell THE BEST QUALITY products and back it with great service. I just cooked 2 beef tenderloins that would be $75 - $95 per plate at a steak house and it cost me $67 total. Add $3 for 2 baked potatoes and some broccoli and a salad and we are very happy here!
Got 3 lbs of blade roast cut into cubes yesterday, then went home taking me 15 min in car, I went to prepare the beef rendang tonight and found 1/2 the cubes are half brown with a smell, I would have thought I would get fresh meat for the price of $22/lb. I will call store tomorrow to ask why.
Very tough top sirloin steaks marked as Prime @$19.95/lb. Totally dissatisfied. Complained to the BBB and the owner never responded.
Got charged $26 for 2 chicken breasts, went to Whole foods across the street and got two for half the price and were good quality.
I loved this place the people are so amazing it really is a shame how one employee can put you off by being sharp, impatient & rude! I’ll try Windsor Meat’s after 4 years
Bought 2 very nice steaks from PEI and they were delicious.
Noticing all these complaints about the smallest things. eye-roll but lets be real. From the moment you walk in to when you leave its an amazing experience. I've never ENJOYED going into a butcher shop until I came to this one. I get greeted instantly, the energy there from every person wearing a MASK OR NOT But they all do are so friendly and do their best to make your experience a great one. Everything my boyfriend and I have ever bought there is amazing. What do you expect when you walk into a butcher shop, of course youre going to be paying more. YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. QUALITY MEATS! If you want to be cheap, go to superstore. Just saying. Eating is a great time and these guys get you excited to rush home and make dinner. AND their house made jerky is to DIE FOR. I love jerky but these ones are next level. I will always be coming back to this meat shop and recommend others to get their meats from them too. It's worth it.
Honestly one of the worst butchers I have ever visited, their meat quality is horrendous and price is way overcharge, especially for the quality, its basically robbery. I am very used to spending a lot of money on premium meat but I was offered a dry aged rib eye single bone for $250 and was honestly one of the worst quality steak I have ever had. This place is honestly shameless for charging ridiculous price for animal feed... avoid at all costs....
Have had the burgers here a couple times now, and they are the best. I usually like to grind my own, as that's the only way my partner is OK with medium rare burgers. But when I can't, this combo of chuck and brisket is amazing! Can't say enough good things, except for maybe, consider some boneless short ribs in the mix. Buy these burgers, they are wonderful!
I got into the store 10 minutes before closing, so everything was packed up. I asked for a nice ribeye steak and they tried to sell me what looked like a pork chop from No Frills... zero marbling, pale, skinny, pre wrapped in plastic, and for what it was wildly over priced @ $25. “You’re in luck.” Is what the guy said to me after he passed it to me. Yeah, I guess I’m lucky to be a regular customer at a different butcher shop. Didn’t buy it and won’t go back.
