Bill went above and beyond for me as my lawyer. Even after the case was resolved he was decent enough to help me when I asked him. When I suddenly found myself defending against criminal charges for the first time in my life 3 years ago, I was overwhelmed with no idea how to properly defend myself. I started off just using the public defender system, but fortunately my family researched defense attorney's and hired Mr. Markert on my behalf. After just a few visits with him, I had learned a LOT more about how the system worked (versus gaining no information whatsoever from the free public defenders). Between that and his concise listing of my various options and their pros/cons, I was able to make the best informed decision on how to proceed with my defense. Long story short, I avoided unjust levels of charges that I otherwise would have been stuck with, and it was all thanks to Mr. Markert! If I ever have need of a criminal defense attorney again (knock on wood), I know who the best one is to call.
