After carefully selecting items to price match, I kept being declined on either what store i was asking for the price match from or if the store was allowed what the coupon was requesting. I became frustrated at a 2 for $3 deal and requested to speak with a manager. The store owner Mark came out and told me he has never priced matched that way in 13 years and would not be doing so today. I told them that was fine, but I would not be moving forward with my purchase as the whole reason I came to no frills was for their price matching. Mark then proceeded to tell me he would just ban me from the store. I was at no point yelling, getting aggressive or being rude, so I found this reaction inappropriate, uncalled for, and unprofessional. He justified this because I was making people put groceries back, which as someone who has worked a few grocery store jobs and having extensive customer service experience, I know that returning stock is just part of the job. I also know well enough that he was being entirely childish in his reaction. Ban or no ban I will not be returning to this location and I have filed a complaint with corporate.nnI would also like to note that the initial reaction to me with the cashier regarding the fact that I was to be price matching was met with an already passive aggressive tone.nIm incredibly disappointed in this store and overall interaction. I would recommend no one gives business to this place.
Yesterday, Dec 2nd, 2025; we should get mandarin oranges. I look at the bags of oranges, most of the oranges are rotten and some have white mould hair growing on them, like “Yuck”!nnI take one package to a worker and show her the white mould and explain most of the packages contain rotten oranges such as this. I explain these are not safe to eat, they have white mould on them; I asked, “Do we pay extra for the rotten oranges and the mould”? Yes, I was being facetious and somewhat rude. [I should have taken a photo]nnShe takes the bag and places it into another bin of oranges, then says “You can buy these for 50% off”. And she was not joking; she was dead serious; I stood there in disbelief. So I can purchase rotten, mouldy, un-usable, un-eatable oranges for 50% off. What the heck, so much for supporting local stores, I hate to think what will be next...
The staff here are always lovely! They help if you need them too when packing. They are really efficient but they never rush you.nStore is always well stocked and clean.
Bought some groceries here about a month and a half ago, next thing I know I am getting spammed by Resolve financial collections in Ontario for allegedly owing several thousand dollars on a pc financial mastercard. I do not own any credit cards of any kind. Due to the fact that this happened and not by coincidence, I feel that I was profiled by the surveillance video footage and was sent to resolve finance in Ontario. I have gotten 30 to 40 spam emails from Resolve on a daily basis. Due to the possibility of stores profiling shoppers through facial recognition and uploading that footage to collection agencies I will never set foot in any Loblaws establishment across the board period bar none. Permanent lifetime Boycott of this company and its subsidiaries.
