Mark's Music

Went here today with my roommate who wanted to sell a VERY nice guitar that he paid $2000 for. We walk in and Mark is standing there, grabs the guitar out of my roommates hand and says "what do you want for it" and my roommate says "well I paid $2000 for it so I'd like to get at least $1,200." Mark laughed and literally walked up to my roommates face and said "are you sure this wasn't stolen? This story doesn't add up whoever you got this from ripped you off" he then proceeded to shake his head and showed us a beat up version of our guitar that sold for $600 and then said "I wouldn't even give you $600 for that" so we grabbed our things and left. If you don't want to be publicly shamed and have someone accuse you of stealing something that you purchased from a store, then DO NOT go here. This place and the owner are DISGUSTING. We should be ashamed to have this place open to people who visit Maine. I would give it no stars if I could.

The sloth working the 21st of October at 2 pm could hardly handle his position. Worst service I've ever received, typically a very fun spot to visit. Disappointing really

Always treated well here. Joel set's up all of my guitars and does an outstanding job!

I would not recommend it to anyone. Im a fan of small businesses, but they suck.

The owner is an awful snobby person. Other employees are nice though.
