I purchased a pair of winter walking/ hiking boots and within a few months the sole separated from the boot so with receipt in hand i returned them to the store and the staff gladly exchanged them for a new pair as they were defective not abused. With the new pair the same issue occured so obviously it must be a design flaw a $150 Columbia boot. On November 23rd i returned with my defective boots but without my receipt and not knowing the date i purchased this 2nd pair. The corporate store "return policy" does require one of these to occur however upon speaking with the manager and her seeing that the boots were defective she went above and beyond and gave me a gift card to compensate me for the boots. I then acquired a pair of Windy River winter boots which suit my needs very well. It's because of great customer service that we'll continue to shop at Mark's, especially the Timmins location. Thank you to the Manager and staff for your wonderful service and large display of your products.
Love shopping at Marc's because of the quality of the merchandise and good deals and sales but as a senior would like to see a bit more discounts because living on wages from Trudeau is tight thank you
Typically great prices, good quality stuff. Buy a lot of my husband's work stuff there. Good sales. Bonus: they are a part of the Canadian Tire Money system. They do often run out of sizes in store and you have to order online, but it's a pretty good system. Delivery to your house or store. And you can do returns in store which is helpful.
Very big store with not really anyone around to help you out. Could not find what I was looking for asked the cashier and got nowhere gonna go and order online. Love the company just not a great experience at this location.
Good selection but make sure you have plenty of time to wait in line to pay for your items. Slow service.....
Whent to Mark's with my husband for a pair of work boots valued at 259.oo dollars the young gentleman that served us said yes we have two pairs in your size but I can't find them.Oh ok you think he would go ask for help to find them but no.So Marks you just lost a good customer we are going to Suzy Salo.
They absolutely was the worst . The employees do not know they products. Are a very rude when asked to look or order something. This was the first time in 2 years that I have been there. Now i know why i dont go there often.
Excellent customer service...some stock not readily available making them promote online sales. Explains the downsizing of the store.
Terrible customer service, had to fight with them in order to return a pair of boots when those had broken WITHIN the store's guarantee and because I have returned then my new paid has no guarantees at all... This smells fishy and the cashier was extremely dissmisive and rude. Had to call head office to get these issues resolved because nothing can ever be done in the store... Pathetic.
