Visited a very dear friend that just arrived there about 1/2 hour before my husband and I did. So very impressed with this beautiful facility. It’s in such a quiet , serene place and the gardens are beautiful. Her room has a Murphy bed as well so her husband could very well spend the night. How lovely to wake up and see each other once again in the morning. I do hope he will do this. There is a beautiful sitting room with a fireplace and cosy looking area . Very nicely furnished and decorated. The kitchen where a family can come and cook and share a meal is outstanding and it has a table that seats 10 . I have never seen such a beautiful facility for this stage of life.
Such a beautiful setting with an impeccable interior but it is the staff and volunteers that are truly incredible. Our family will be forever grateful for all the high level of respect and care provided as our loved one crossed over. Touches like the end of life walk show just how compassionate everyone is at Mariposa Hospice House. nPicture is our loved ones view from bed.
I never thought I'd be leaving a review for a hospice but I was blown away by the warmth, compassion and care my father and our family received. They took incredible care of our Dad and I am so grateful they were there to hold his hand as he walked out of this world. They provided amazing support to ny family as well. Lindsay and Jamie were there when he passed and they were then warmest and kindest people and were very comforting. It is also a beautiful place. We are grateful for this hopsice.
I write this review with love and forever gratitude. The care provided to my mother and our family can never be forgotten. Loving and professional care was provided. The setting is beautiful and replicates a home like environment.
As a community nurse and owner of a local Home Care Agency, I highly commend all those involved in Mariposa House Hospice. They have a strong dedication to the clients they serve. Strong fundraising and have been faced with Covid and all it brings as barriers for families. You all have done a tremendous job. Palliative care in a beautiful building surrounded by nature.
