"Marina Bar & Grill is located on the Pictou Waterfront in the town of Pictou and is open year round. Our restaurant borders the boardwalk which borders Pictou Marina. You will not find a restaurant in Nova Scotia that you can sit closer to the water. We have both interior and exterior seating. Our new out door patio has a seating capacity of 60 persons and faces the Ship Hector and Pictou Harbour. Our menu features local seafood however we have traditional North American food. We also have a full alcohol menu that features local wines, craft beer and spirits. Drop in and enjoy a great meal with your favorite beverage while watching the mariners dock their boats. Our restaurant is family friendly."

What a great place! Wonderful atmosphere, great service and such good food. Great value for your money.
Loved the food. Was absolutely delicious. Fast services and very polite and informative about daily specials. Reason for 4 stars was I found the chairs squishy. My husband and I moved to a booth and found it a little tight as well.
We had fish tacos and fish'n'chips. Was yummy and the pricing is reasonable. French fries are better than other places, yet they could have let them drip off the grease a little longer. Overall very rustic and beautiful atmosphere, great view and good service. We will definitely come back.
The Marina Bar and Grill has a wonderful waterfront adjacent location in scenic Pictou, only 15 minutes from the New Glasgow hub. We stopped in for a meal and decided to eat in "the boathouse" section of the restaurant, a screened in section, water facing. Our waitress was very friendly, and even though a drink I had requested was not on the menu, she was able to put it together for me, which was appreciated. I had the hot turkey sandwich and fries which was delicious and piping hot, fries were crispy coated and tasty, and my husband got the clubhouse which looked amazing. He said that it tasted even better and he also loved the fries! We treated ourselves to desert, he had the famous Blueberry Grunt and I had the strawberry shortcake, two Nova Scotia favorites that will never steer you wrong. We enjoy our visits to the Marina, especially on a hot day with a cold beer, and we look forward to the summer and the patio!

Stopped in for a drink on a raining afternoon. The service staff are just phenomenal, they are personable and had great knowledge about the area. It was great to watch the waves roll while sipping a drink. Would recommend!Service: 5/5
Owners, Food and Staff are all amazing. Everything we've ever eaten has been excellent and they make you feel at home. Love this place.
Building and food is presented beautifully but food quality and service leaves something to be desired. Staff don’t seem to want to be there loudly complaining/swearing about personal problems and we experienced a lack of basic service being flat out ignored by the staff when they seemed extremely over staffed. Food seemed over prepared/reheated. I would always give a place a try once! The scenery is nice and circumstances change.
We stopped in here for dinner on the waterfront. The covered porch setting was perfect for fresh seafood. We had the seafood chowder which was alright, the pan fried scallops which were wonderful and the blueberry grunt which was tasty but larger than expected. The downside is the service was slow. We arrived before the rush but then the servers became overwhelmed. If you just want to relax and enjoy, it is a great place to go.
