Margarita's Mexican Restaurant

Horrible service from the time we arrived and they were not busy. Could not get the check & had to hunt them down & give them my credit card. They never brought the bill or the card back. Went to find the bill & card. I was directed to the bar where the bartender had it in his pants pocket!?! Would not recommend! Wish I could give it negative stars!

Since the great changes have taken place new manager and bartender's and waitresses the time's are on top greeted right away, got chips and salsa and menu right away and food was and drinks where amazing. What a big difference, WAY TO PICK IT UP AND ON TRACK EVERYONE.

This is the third and final time I will attempt to eat the food, in conclusion-This location serves food less than worthy. it's not even okay! I however was Given a Refund.

Margaritas has always been the best place to get tacos, burritos or whatever you want that has authentic flavor. The owner in the back cooks up most of the dishes he's created to make it his own. I bring my family every now and then to enjoy a wholesome Mexican dinner complete with chips and salsa. At least the prices accommodate the dishes and how they are made. I highly recommend this place as one of the few best that really bring flavors of Mexican cuisine home.

I started writing about my experience of this place and I got more angry by the minute. I deleted everything I wrote. My party of 3 adults, 1 child and 1 baby walked into a restaurant that read "No Minors" although it was a family restaurant. We seated ourselves, then the menus arrived 30 minutes later. We had to make our own high chair, we received a wrong size drink and the drink itself was wrong, waited 1 hour for our food after our order was taken, the tamales were cold, the ground beef quality was worst than Taco Bell's, and all food entrees were extremely salty. We wanted to say something during our meal, but was afraid we were going to have to wait another hour for new entrees to come out. At the end of the night, we asked for a discount on the meal due to cold tamales, the wrong size drink, and extremely slow service when it wasn't even busy. Only the cold tamales and the wrong size drink was discounted. The waitress even said, "You guys ate it all well". She was rude and did not attend to us compared to a fraction of a Sheri's Pie waitress. If you are thinking about getting your Mexican on in or near Carlton, do not waste your time at this place.
