Marché Saint-Pierre

About

An absolute dream for fabric shoppers. Not only that but the place is so old school, it feels like you are inside of a 50s movie set. Even for those that don't sew, this place is a must visit for the old-school ambiance.
If you need most beautiful tissus with incredible prints, this is is where you’ll find them. And if you’re looking for an amazing view of the Sacré Cœur, this is also a cool spot. Worth a stroll just for that.
We find almost anything you need related to textile at an affordable price. Credit card from 5€. Old authentic store. Still feel the Old Montmartre in this shop more than the others around. They measure the old way too with wooden sticks. They have 6 floors and you must pay what you buy on each one.
Great place, prices not necessarily better than is smaller stores, but the amount of options you can find here is just unbelievable!!!
Go to fabric place for me as a designer student.. it's affordable and everytype of fabric could be found there.. from expensive to affordable variation of fabrics this place is amazing.
Sooo much material over alot of floors. There is sooo much variety of materials, you'll need a few hours to go through it. Unfortunately I couldn't afford another suitcase to get what I wanted on the flight home.
This place is the paradise for anyone whose sewing, wether for beginners or professionals! The staff is always nice and caring. Plus, the choice of fabric is practically endless! If you need cheap button, zippers, etc. I would recommend the shop next to it, on Pierre Picard street.
This area of Paris is where one goes for fabrics and notions. There are dozens of fabric shops one after the other. This particular one is on the smaller side and while they carry a decent selection most are not to my liking - they are generally on the cheaper side. Across the street, however, is where one can get anything from all price points as they have 5 or 6 floors. It’s still worth a look and one can order online, however, I was told you are not guaranteed to get it. My mistake as this is the store with multiple levels and all price points. Selection of fabrics is quite grand and I plan to get something very nice to get some curtains made. They too will be grand. If one sews you can spend a lot of time here. Around the corner are lots of notions, trims, etc.
Endulge yourself in the world of materials. From home decor to haute couture. Textile, lace, anything you might need to be a designer in Paris
You can spend weeks here and find something new every time!
