Nice little shop for people who live in Ste Anne and lazy to drive or take the public transport to closest Maxi or other bigger grocery retailer. Price is a little more expensive than those big store but very acceptable considering the size and how close it is to Ste Anne neighborhood. Things are always fresh and people are friendly.

Love this little place, their meat is well prepared too, good and honest butcher they do not leave extra fat and skin to inflate the weight and price..

Small neighbourhood grocery store. Has essentials but very limited fresh produce.I found it hard to locate but much appreciated in this small college town.

This store is a family owned and operated store. All of Mr Richards' employees are his sons, one of whom(Francios) is the main manager; is a power tripper. They used to cash family allowance and gst checks. I had one incident where I needed to buy some groceries arriving from montreal when the bank was closed, all the same, i'd been a customer for a couple of years at this point, the son, said, my dad says yes but I don't know you enough, so I say no, I had a newborn at the time, needed diapers, food and of course milk. They faltly refused. They are the only store you can use for the vouchers from the food band, which is weird, usually grocery vouchers are for a few of the same chain or the other ones. They've got some sort of fishy agreement with the parish which is why were essentially forced to shop there and they have the monopoly.....there really aren't any other grocery stores in the area. If you don't freeze or cook your meat/especially your chicken, it goes rotten very very fast..... and they wont let you take it back. There prices are inflated, the only thing that isn't overinflated as they are pretty much same in all of ste anne de bellevue, are smokes, and milk. The cheese are eight bucks a pop, milk is six fifty etc. Having the monopoly to be the only one to accetp the food vouchers, their coolers work improperly so as I sai, you need to cook your food/meat fast. Also, ifyou want meat specials, order them in advance so they can order more, and they make the packages up form the main freezer, cooler. That ia way fresher. As I said, their prices are tantamount to what you'd expect to pay at provigo, IGA. They have decent sales, which makes it worthwhile to g o to that store, but so far as using it for your monthly groceries, forget it, it's gonna cost you almost fifty percent more, if not worse. I've dealt with this store for about eleven, more than actually, eleven years this past may... Mr Richard is very old, but is kind and works everyday. Sincerely. Lisa. S.
