Stopped at this market by chance. It had some of the best food we tasted in two weeks of wandering Quebec. You really can't go wrong here.nnThe fishmonger MA Poissonnerie was very friendly and gave us many samples. The hot smoked salmon and salmon candy were delicious.nnBlueberry pie from Mamia was well baked and densely packed with flavorful wild blueberries, yet not too sweet. Price was very reasonable, around $7.nnGreen olives from Menthe Marocaine tasted like a lightly brined Nocellara, just what I was hoping for.nnTomatoes and carrots from produce vendors were good.nnThe bread baker was on vacation, but the cheesemonger directed us to a good boulangerie nearby.
awesome coffee available. not much else for vegans. not even a fruit&veg place. all meet, cheese and fish. was disappointed.
The marche is the best thing for a one stop deal you have all you need to go home and have a feast.

The only thing missing is a poutine restaurant... They lack restaurants in the area, so a poutine shop would be very much appreciated!
