Great place to find treasures…… two floors of old and outdated goods but if you are looking for second hand goods or antiques, this is a great place. Each stall individually owned by its respective owners and you can negotiate and hackle as needed. No reasonable offers would be refused. I live coming here when I have a chance. Obviously there are a few stalls I prefer because after all, some vendors here do ask unreasonable price …. So walk around first before you decide what to buy.
Hidden gem in Montreal, you can find a great variety of items here: vinyls, clothes, furniture, jewelry, frames, toys, games, collectibles, lots of vintage items, etc. The market is BIG and the Floorplan is not obvious, be ready to have fun exploring the labyrinth. There is 2 aisles on the first floor that are accessible only through a single corridor, but they are big and have the best hidden treasures.
Always a gritty riot, the occasional treasure, a must see to every flea market aficionado. Friendly vendors, bilingual, fair prices mostly. Haggle hard on the stuff priced wrong! Far too many booths tarped shut, disappointing. Not great ‘hood, but it’s a flea!
Any antique item you can think of will be here! It's a little out of the way but completely worth the pilgrimage. Don't miss the second floor - there are large collections of depressionware and vintage glassware, a room of vintage rugs, and beautiful higher end furniture.
I started going to another flea market first, on Langelier, because they clearly displayed a few of their vendors on Google maps and I knew for sure that they had good selections of video games... but this one also sells Video Games, and what's more they have great selections of retro toys and games as well as trading cards and all sorts of collectibles you wouldnt find at the other market. It's much more of a maze than any other flea market, there's a lot more cramped spaces, some of the vendors booths are really messy, but the sheer amount of unique finds here is amazing! There's a guy who sells displays of preserved insects, a shop with a full set of knights armor, a booth devoted completely to 80's/90's horror, a "portal" into the 80's filled with vinyl records and vintage T's, one that feels exactly like stepping into an old blockbuster, and so many other antiques and goods. I haven't even visited the second floor yet either. Definitely worth visiting... but keep in mind they are exclusively open on the weekends, Friday through Sunday, you're gonna be squeezing between tightly packed shelves of breakable items, and if you're not careful you'll get lost pretty easily.
Quite big and varied but I was bit disappointed in the prices. You won't easily find bargains, though its so big I may have missed it. But it feels like this is where antiquarian or collectors go, not ordinary folk.
First of all parking is hell. As you enter it looks promising but then you enter into clustered little pathways surrounded by mostly junk and dusty items. The smell gets to you pretty quickly. I almost felt like its just a rental place for “collectors” to store their stuff. I am sure there are good vintage items, collectables and gems but it gets lost in all the chaos and junk. A revemp wouldn’t hurt.
I think I was here for about 2 hrs or so, I didn't know what to expect as I had never been but it's a really nice place to find some odds and ends. Whether you're looking for mirrors, furniture, old film cameras, homeware, framed posters and so much more. Note most if not, all vendors take cash so be prepared to shell out some money for that one of a kind find. I was told there's an ATM close by so that's convenient. I really liked the flea market and will be heading back, probably during summertime!
Loads of fun exploring! Will return to all of the Vinyl record shops hidden within!!
Fantastic flea market and one of the best I’ve been to in recent years. This an authentic flea market with goods from the past. A mixture of junk and gems, not overly curated and overpriced like those vintage shops and flea markets in big cities. We spent a good morning there and went back the next day. Almost everyone who walked out of the door had a purchase in their hands. For vintage lovers, this market can easily take up a entire day.
