Marca College Hair and Esthetics

Marca College did a great job by offering services to the community in our Seniors Wellness program. Delia Fiorante sent fantastic students that kindly provided services for the elders. Four esthetic students provided hand massages and polish changes, and four hairstyling students provided haircuts for older adults. The Spa Day event was special, despite each Wellness event being unique. The senior citizens thoroughly loved this day despite being quite busy. They frequently acknowledged their satisfaction with the services and mentioned how they felt after receiving massages. They complemented one another on their new haircuts and polish changes. The overall atmosphere was positive. This event was organized to accommodate older adults and allow them to engage in self-care. Self-care has numerous benefits and improves an individual's disposition, mental health, and physical well-being, precisely what was seen.

On a whim late Friday night booked an appt for Monday morning to get a balayage and haircut refresh - best decision made! I showed both Amarit and Abby a couple of pictures for an ash brown look and it turned out beautifully! Mom stopped by a couple of times to inspect and provide additional guidance. As I had darker hair the process took a bit more time to achieve as expected and I was there pretty much all day. Overall I had a great experience! Thank you for giving me a new makeover! I will definitely be coming back again!

My first time here at Marca and it was an awesome experience. Staff are super friendly and caring. Dianna was very welcoming and helpful at the front desk. Mariam was very thorough and made a huge effort to understand what I'm looking for. She did a fantastic job with my haircut and styling. I am super happy with it- thank you! I loved the vibe here!

I walked in thinking it was a different salon and I’m so glad I did. It was all extremely professional. My hairdresser Kayla did an AMAZING job with the wash , cut, and style! She was very gentle and talked me through everything and I really enjoyed my experience! Also the prices are fantastic for the service provided. I highly recommend

I had a really good experience here with Jordan - my stylist. She was very friendly and gave me a great haircut. Her instructor was very serious, especially when he realized that I asked for very short hair. He thought my stylist made a mistake but I told him I wanted it nice and short. It's amazing to get a good haircut in this city for $10!! Yes, you heard it right. I took advantage of the offer. I spent $36 at Kensington market last time which is also considered cheap by Toronto standards and I wasn't as pleased. Icing on the cake - my hard to please husband actually liked my haircut a lot.

I’ve gotten highlights and cuts here a handful of times now, and have always had a great experience. The students are attentive, careful and precise in their practices, and supervisors are always around to double-check as they teach the future stylists. Thanks to my most recent stylist Frey for her diligence and close attention to give me the cut and style I was looking for : For anyone considering visiting Marca, I would highly recommend for a great quality service at a fraction of the price charged by big city salons, just be aware that time you’ll spend there is longer than a typical service.

Her sweet demeanor and professional approach put me at ease right away, and I knew I was in good hands. As for the service itself, I can honestly say it was one of the best I've ever received. Victoria took great care in ensuring that my nails were shaped, buffed, and polished to perfection. She also paid close attention to detail, making sure my cuticles were healthy and my skin was moisturized. All in all, my experience at Marca was nothing short of exceptional.
