The Maple Rapids Public Library is located in the beautiful downtown area of Maple Rapids, Michigan.
The library offers a wide collection of books from non-fiction, science fiction, self-help, large print, western, history, and a section for both junior and elementary level readers. There are also plenty of magazines for light reading.
Newly released movies can be rented at $2.00 for two days, and older releases can be rented at $1.50 for one week.
There is a year-round book sale for both adults and children. 25 cents for adults, and 10 cents for children.
The library holds a summer reading program to encourage children to continue reading outside of school.
During the school year, we offer story hour on Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. for pre-schoolers (ages 2-5). We have a story, and engage the children in a craft. The library offers this as a free service.
