I was warmly greeted this past Saturday at the shop and recommended some incredible beans crazy fresh, too that made everyone at my house party very happy. Each person that got an espresso had to know where the coffee came from. Will definitely be returning for fresh beans going forward. These two babies also enjoyed the bags they came in. 10/10
My son brewed a batch of coffee after dinner. The aroma captured our attention but the sampling was the seller. Smooth taste tapered with a sprinkle of brown sugar and a shot of organic whole milk or just black and no additives this coffee is beyond high end restaurant coffee.
I've ordered several times in the last year, and the reason is because the coffee has been excellent, but I haven't ordered as much as I could have and still hesitate to order today. Sometimes the coffee has been roasted a few days before it was shipped, which is okay, but three times I was sent coffee that was roasted a week before it was even shipped--and that cuts down on how long it will be at its best, and I once threw out nearly half a bag because the coffee was noticeably past its prime. I never would have ordered again if the coffee wasn't as EXCELLENT as it is. I've adjusted how and when I order, ensuring I order no more than 12 oz and only when I'm nearly out of coffee, and I would suggest you do the same if you're looking to finish the bag within 23/24 days after its roasted.
Legitimately great coffee. We were able to watch and learn how coffee is roasted from various regions of the world. Excitedly, we purchased several kids. to bring back to friends and family in Colorado. We definitely plan on ordering more online to ship to the Rockies.
I am happy to say that I was one of Maple Leaf’s first customers and wouldn’t go anywhere else for my coffee needs. They do an amazing job providing quality coffee packed with amazing flavors to go with anyone’s preferences. I love introducing my family and friends to their coffee and look forward to my monthly delivery! Their coffee and accessories make great holiday gifts as well! Their team is extremely knowledgeable and have helped me expand my palate and try different roasts. Icing on the cake is that Alex is a bunt master.
if you're looking for commercial coffee that makes ompa-chinos, this is not it. If you're looking for something special and unique grounds then Maple Leaf is the place. Hockey Pond Coffee is the my go to coffee to get me going. I like how smooth and flavorful of all the different varieties that are available. Better yet, you never know what the coffee master will make so you have to keep coming back to find out. Since this isn't open all the time, I sometimes order online if I know I can't make it in on Saturday mornings. Oh, and they sell air tight bins to store your grounds for freshness and tea varieties. This is arguably the best coffee you can get in Northern Illinois. To top it off, the owners are knowledgeable and easy to talk to. Alex always gives great recommendations.
Excellent customer service, he took his time explaining the variety of coffee and teas availablein store, also gave a few pointers on making an excellent iced tea. The minute you walk in you can smell freshly ground coffee and I dont know about you but that is one of my favorite smells. There are cute coffee mugs available, although we didn't get any this time, im sure we will be back for them. The variety of coffee available is great, he did mention there might be more things on the website. I can't wait to try the coffee and teas and go back :.

I recently moved from Columbus OH to Schaumburg, and I was struggling to find a place that served my favorite kind of coffee: high acidity light roasts with fruity and floral flavor notes. I was about to give up and start an online subscription until I found this place. I saw they had single origin coffees including my favorite country-of-origin Ethiopia. I bought a bag, brewed a pot, and got exactly what I was hoping for. I look forward to trying their other coffees!
