Probably best for takeout. Service is quite good. The food was good but usual fare similar to a food court. Prices are very reasonable and quantity is on the generous side. Good value for money.
We came here on a Saturday evening, 7pm. It was very quiet, only two other customers in the restaurant. We got general Tsao Chicken and Cantonese Chow Mein Beef. Food was fresh and mildly flavoured. Service was fast and the man at the counter was very attentive. I had left the bathroom with a scrunched up hand towel and he noticed and offered to throw it away for me. Very nice!
I would of never believed until I experienced this myself. I placed my order well over a hour prior knowing it was New Years Eve and what I have read of what has happened in the past by customers, to get a call I am assuming from the daughter telling me that they cannot do 1 item out of my order a hour later in which I said was fine. I asked if the rest of my order was ready and her response to me was we have a lot of orders ahead of you, that wasn't my question. After she answered me that same answer 4 times I said point blank is my order ready yes or no. She replied no and said again that there's many orders ahead. . I am so mad right now bcs I live in Pickering and came all the way down the least she could of done is called to say that it will take longer that is common courtesy but mo I get attitude and gaslighting trying to make me feel bad for the amount of orders they have. Read through their reviews I guarantee you will hear one similar. I will NEVER come back here and I know they don't care bcs what is the loss of 1 customer when they have so many.
I ordered from Maple Garden or my daughter's birthday...excellent Chinese food...will order again from them for sure Thank you Vegetarian options: Was hot and delicious
Maple Garden is a good choice if you're in the mood for traditional Chinese American fare, like sweet and sour chicken balls and egg foo young. They also have a buffet.

Purchased dinner for 2. Quantity was good; could have fed 3 or 4 people. Price was ok. Packaging for takeout was excellent. Rice was fine and the sweet and sour sauce was spot on. The eggroll was overdone and lacked flavour. The pork ribs were tougher than bits of oak. There must be better in Whitby.
Surprisingly delicious food. Not a huge variety of dishes but after too plates I got stuffed. Very good chicken wings and nice noodles and Rice. The place is not fancy at all, pretty simple and the owner is very nice. Could be great with a bit more fruit selection only had oranges. Would probably visit again. Quick and affordable lunch.
Had a pretty nice experience here with my friend. The service was great and the waiters were friendly. It had a nice environment and was a good place to eat dinner. Although, some of my ribs were not of the best quality, the portion sizes were huge and the food did not taste bad. Overall, it's a good restaurant.
Absolutely delicious, these Chef's are true masters. Must try Peking Style Pork Loin, Cantonese Pork Chow Mein, B.B.Q. Pork Fried Rice and 2 orders of Chicken Wings, the portion size is big and the price can't be beat anywhere, Thank you so much for coming out to Richmond Hill
