We were in the area for a wedding. My father in law booked the rooms. So I have no idea how all that went. We arrived Friday night. The owner was very pleasant. Gave us a brief tour and showed us to our room. The hotel is very quaint. A little outdated, but goes well with the charm of the building. Each room has a different decor to it. Our room, with all the stone and wood, was absolutely gorgeous. The owner does everything at the hotel by himself, including the amazing fresh croissants for breakfast. There’s not much for breakfast besides those, toast, cereals and yogurt, but still delicious. Definitely would stay again if in the area.
This hotel is super cozy and charming. The rooms are a little smaller than what I imagined, but that added to the homey feeling. The owner is a sweetheart and is very attentive to everybody that stays there. The roof terrace is so nice, my family and I spent most of our time out there. I would absolutely go here again if I was ever in the area
This hotel is not the typical fancy hotel, but it sure has a lot of character. Built in the 18th century, they managed to keep a lot of its original beauty.nnThe owners, I believe are Chinese and they are absolutely amazing, they do everything themselves and there is no hesitation for them to go the extra mile to make our stay the best experience.nnI stayed in one of their suite with my sister in law and we got there very late. The spa was already closed, but Steve was a real gentleman and re-opened it just for us for another hour.nnI asked for robes and unfortunately a lot of previous customers apparently leave with the robes, so the inventory is very slim, but Steve, again went out of his way to acomodate us with one each.nnThis experience was great and I will definitely go back to the Manoir if I ever need to stay around Marieville again.
Cute little hotel with a great price. The checkin & out was quite easy. The room was clean and quiet. Breakfast was enough to satiate you for the day. Hard boiled eggs, fresh croissants really tasty, Oatmeal packs, cereal, and a few other breads.nnThe whole town smelled of cow manure due to the local fields being fertilized so, keep that in mind if you're planning on enjoying the rooftop spa/hangout.
First, the owners go out of their way to give us a nice stay.nThey made us feel welcome to bring our own food, and enjoy whatever they had sauna, fridge, etc.. Room was clean. The building is beautiful. It was our second stay, and definitely not the last.
