We were craving South Indian food, so we tried this place out on a day trip to the Vancouver area. It was quite good, though we would've preferred some of the flavors to be more intense. We got the idli, vada in rasam, rava onion mysore masala dosa, paratha, palak paneer and fish chettinad. The fish was very well cooked and the idli had great texture. The dosa was also good. The paratha was too greasy and the palak paneer was just ok. Everything else was definitely worth ordering again.nnInspired by another review, we tried the lemon terror drink and it was great!!!
Thought it would be a normal indian place but oh I was so wrong! We had Dosa, Vada and my fave - Lamb Curry. The lamb made me so happy, so tasty and I think was even good for 2 ppl. Definitely check this place out!
Our visit to this dosa place was exceptional! The customer service was top-notch, the food was mouth-watering, and the atmosphere was serene. Being Indian, I had the pleasure of ordering the perfect dishes, including paper butter, dosa lamb, dosa paper butter masala, chicken briyani 65, bhatura, chai & rasam An unforgettable experience!
Do yourself a favour and get a lemon terror if you’re lucky enough to have a meal here. I want a jug of it next time, wow.nnEverything was superb, knocked our socks off.
I ordered Regular chicken Biriyani and I loved it as its mildly flavour.nIt was great in portion and two of us satisfactorily had it.nnLoved thahi - curd/yoghurt with chopped onion and gravy came along with Biriyani.nnUpdate - we had Chicken Kotthu Paratha today. I am just in love with their correct amount of spices. So tasty and the best so far in Metro Vancouver.nnTheir payasam is milky and awesome in taste. A must try !nnI had kallappam - I thought it's hoppers from Sri Lanka. But came as a dosa shaped one. Batter is the same as I expected that's made out of rice flour. Curries should separately be bought.nnNever go for their parotta. Too oily.nnNever go for their rasam, it tasted more like a chicken soup.
