This is pretty nice for being a free zoo. We saw a lynx, an owl, a turkey vulture, some goats, some sheep, alpacas, geese, etc. There were deer, too. Some of the animals were not out, but maybe we'll see them next time. Everything seems nicely kept up and clean. There is a playground and a barn with farm animals. It's not too big, so it's great for young children.
This free zoo is maintained beautifully! Great little date for me and my man and great for kids! We loved the little "who left made these" paw prints and seeing the sizes.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNoPrice for adult entryFree
This is a wonderful Park area and Zoo! The Zoo takes great care of all of their animals; the Staff and Volunteers are always friendly and helpful! The brick area with the names of people that donated money for the bricks and Zoo, the Manitowoc Lincoln Park Zoological Society keep up well, too. I highly recommend families go there and enjoy the Animals and beautiful garden-like environment, and also please donate to the Zoo!
A quaint but free zoo Please make a donation. They suggest $2pr person in a cute park with lots to do for two kiddos.
I had only been to Manitowoc Lincoln Park Zoo in the winter months... It's heaven if you love nature, plants, water, small forest like paths.... I know I do and it was AMAZING! I can't wait to bring a group!!!! Lots of scenic areas to enjoy your hand packed lunch! Just make a donation! I did not see a suggestion for amount, but as with wait staff, be generous! It's the only way they can keep going! Have fun!
Great little zoo! My daughter and I go a few times a year. Be sure to donate when entering. Good variety of animals for the size.
Maybe I am weird, but I expect to see animals at zoo. Yes, I know, this was free, but still… We ended up seeing the back side of a bison, a caterpillar on the sidewalk, and a singular bird. That was it. Not joking.. It was basically just walking around a sidewalk looking at empty animal pens with rocks and foliage...
This is a great little zoo. You can spend 1.5-2 hours here and have a great time with young kids. The signs and displays were really good. The animals were active and the playground was a fun place to stop. The rest of the park has great picnic locations.
I was there for a child's birthday party. They had a nice room to host the party that could hold approximately 30 people. A zoo tour was included in the party and our guide was very nice and personable.Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNot sure
Nice little free zoo. Established some time ago. The paths through the zoo are inviting and friendly.
