Just made a post for the restaurant but wanted to share my experience at the pool. I was a little surprised by the water, not sure what I was expecting...but once in the water I was in heaven. We soaked in the various pools with different temps for about an hour and a half. I floated standing up in the deep end - so cool. Took a peek outside and wished it was still summer so I could have went out on the patio for a cocktail. After we had supper at the restaurant and drove back to Saskatoon and had the best sleep EVER. Recommend this outing to everyone, something out of the ordinary here.

This is a fantastic place to relax. When you stay at MSR, you get unlimited access to the pool. The staff is very friendly, the hotel is very clean, the pool is so warm, buoyant and therapeutic. It was very quiet at night, and the beds are gloriously comfortable. The breakfast has lots to offer, but some of the items, for example the scrambled eggs, tasted a bit rubbery like they had been sitting there for awhile, and the orange juice tasted good the first morning and had a fermented taste the next morning. We were here two years ago, when the breakfast was hot and fresh, so that was a bit of a disappointment. Otherwise no complaints. This is a place you should try if you haven't already! Apparently, there are only two other places in the world where the water has high sodium content similar to this one.

Such a wonderful and unique experience. Great way to relax and unwind and experience a floating sensation rarely found in nature, especially in Canada! Once you get past the colour of the water, it's easy to immerse and relax. I'm pretty sure that the springs were very helpful for my sleep that night! You can rent a lock for $5 which you will get back when you return it. We bought the day pass and went for two dips in one day which was awesome, especially right before bed. The pools are a bit dark and more natural light would be great, but overall it's an awesome experience!

We enjoyed our stay at the resort, but it's not the nicest hotel I've ever been to. The mineral pool is lovely and relaxing, the gift shop is interesting, the restaurant is alright, the bed was quite comfortable, which may be the most important part of a hotel. We didn't try the poolside cafe. The hotel and pool did seem quite busy, even in autumn.

We stayed in an executive suite. There was some lack of attention to detail. The bathtub was cracked, the Jets in the tub didn't work. The make up mirror in the suite had not been dusted, and the clock radio wasn't set. There was other things that were less class, like the art work in the room was the same print on both walls, and the no smoking signs on the suites doors are mostly upside down (with the smoke falling). Over all, everything was sufficient. The safe, TV, fridge and microwave were super useful. Some things I would have liked to see, is more desk space, flatter and firmer pillows. The internet also worked pretty good. But we didn't go to small town Saskatchewan to stay in a hotel room, we went for the mineral spa. The water was great, staff was good. The food is nothing special. I do think most things are a good value, but I have the mindset for more luxury. I would recommend lake view suites over any other suite. The fire places are super silly, and not worth the money. The sitting area is also very nice.
