This place is too pricey when we visited Xmas day. We called n asked what time they close @3p. Then, we drove 1-1/2 hr. To find that they don’t dine in. They have a bunch of food pre ordered on the table. I don’t know why people put FAKE reviews when food isn’t great especially for the price.the taste isn’t good. When your hungry you need not buy here. You gonna be disappointed. We spend $80 bucks for a large pork sinigang, mocha cake, lechon cost$22 for 30 oz. photos isn’t available. Sales clerk aren’t going give u price until checkout.u just gonna find your eyes bug out on checkout! I should just canceled the order.
Sat and sun buffet is a good value for price. Food is made fresh with a pretty good selection.
It’s worth driving 3.5 hours just to take away the foods that we love so much. We missed the Buffet every Sunday . I introduced my kids to eat filipino food by bringing them in this restaurant. The Authenticity of every entree, that they capture that every region in the philippines. My palate was so delighted every time I have a spoonful succulent piece in my mouth. You remember every childhood memories that you’ve shared every time you shared it with your family. This is how I feel and every filipino should, and i could say “I’m proud to be FILIPINO”
Too Chaotic on holidays. We called and drove 2hrs. Hungry as a cow. Then, Didn’t mention that their only doing orders not dine in. Not much of a selection. Then, when we did place an order of dishes that cost us $96. The receipt doesn’t show the details of each dishes cost? It was just the total of the whole order. Their not that tasty.
I'm not filipino, ordered 100 lumpia for 30.00 delicious! Picked up, employee mopping the floor was friendly, womaner wasn't very friendly at all, I asked her about Sunday special , she acted like I knew already. HUM.... I would order for pickup lumpia again but not eat there.
I eat in this spot a lot since I work in the area. I like how the customer service is always good and they keep the spot clean consistently. Pricing is convenient and they serve generous portions.
I wish I had good things to report. But first, I must explain. I came here after searching for a filipino restaurant. I have family that is filipino and are all excellent cooks. I grew up eating all this food. So it is my comfort food. Especially, Dinuguan... My fav. I came in and they have all food ready like cafeteria style. There is a buffet on the weekend. I ordered a variety of things to really try they're food. I got a medium Dinuguan huge some caldaretta, butter fish and longinisa. I Dinuguan looked good but it was only slightly warm and tasted only like blood. No flavors of the vinegar or hot pepper normally found in this dish. I could only eat a few bites. The cold blood was flavor less and minerally. The calderetta was just ok and hot. The butter fish was fried cripy and dry like fish jerky. Like I said, I really wish I had a more favorable review. I love filipino food but I won't be coming here again. Sorry :-
Service is terrible. Seems like your bottering them when you want to order food. Also don't ask them questions cause they look at you like your stupid. They have sour faces when greeting you. Went there today to buy some rice. Told me oh sorry were out of rice. How can that be rice goes with almost all the dishes why would you not have enough rice in to sell with the food. Big disappointment coming here!
They use MSG in their food. I always get headache after eating their food. I have mentioned it many times before but they don't seem to care. I'd be going back there if they get rid of MSG. I wish MSG is illegal and deemed unhealthy.
Excellent. Very customer- oriented and amiable. Maria, si Nana...Ilokana, and my kababayan- the gentleman from Sto. Tomas, Ilagan, Isabela were very pleasant, helpful, and accomodating. Thanks for the positive experience. Marlene
