I discovered this place during the pandemic and keep coming back here for their amazing lomi, but I was hesitant when I heard this place was under new management. Well, I'm no longer worried because they assured me the cooking staff is still the same, and aside from some rearranged tables, this place is still as good as ever. In addition to the lomi today, I also tried pork BBQ, pancit palabok, and lechon kawali, and they are all amazing. The new owner is friendly as well. There are plenty of future menu choices to pick from, but I plan to try the breakfast specials next.
our favourite filipino restaurant in the city! food is always good and service is even better. Big servings of each dishes!! you wont regret itFood: 5/5
*** DECENT FILIPINO FOOD *** came here with a friend for good old Filipino breakfast, I had the hungry man platter and obviously I thought I could finish it, but I couldn't, that platter alone can feed a family of 4 LOL PROS • decent Filipino food! • good location, lot of parking! CONS • busy, make sure you make reservations.
Great foods, wonderful service and good place... One of the best Filipino restaurant that we tried! Highly recommended Parking: Front and sides of the restaurant.
Definitely a five for presentation and flavor. Fairly slow service on a Saturday at noon was to be expected. While the servings are large, I think you paying luxury prices. One pleasant surprise was the fact that there were no bits of bones which I often find in filipino cooking. The beef kare-kare, sweet and sour fish and pork barbecue on a stick are all recommended.
Decided I really wanted to try Filipino cuisine. Ive dabbled with the different bakery's and tried some different meals from coworkers. Through consultation with the waitress, we picked a few dishes. I believe I got great value for what I purchased. The place looked clean and I'd definitely dine in too given the chance. The food felt very light after eating and no complaints. I took some photos to show in this review. Server was friendly and eager to provide great service. There was lots of parking available as well.
Went for the buffet. Most of the food seemed like it was there awhile. Drinks you get yourself from a large container with a ladel. So liquids pour everywhere and no pop or juice.Food: 1/5
We went there as a group of 6 to try boodle fight, Fillipini party food. You need to book at least a day advance for boodle. When we get there our table was covered by banana leaves and the lady started to build the boodle once all of us arrived. There are a lot of pork, bbq chicken, fish, squid, veges and mango with a bowl of sour soup and a sisig. We lookve the taste and the experience. We couldn't finished and pack it up 2 containners. I'd suggest to go with 7 or 8 people. We also order a halohalo to share. It was a good too!
I love the food. This is the first authentic Filipino restaurant I've been since we moved here in Winnipeg. It taste like home. Their best seller is kare-kare. Everything there is good even the ambiance...except the washroom . They should have someone check it regularly to maintain cleanliness. Overall though, a must try for everybody.
Me and my wife went there on a Saturday around 10am, it says open but no food inside, no costumers and we were wondering what is going on. We just went to other restaurants. Not going to eat there since they do not follow their own opening schedule.Food: 1/5
