Mandarin has been a staple throughout my childhood. I haven’t been here in ages…literally. The taste is exactly as I remember it. I find people have the wrong idea about buffets. It’s not somewhere you go to fill yourself up and waddle on out but rather a place to have a variety of flavour already part of the package price. The manager was super outgoing and staff were friendly. Most of all things looked clean and sanitized with plenty of options to adhere to safety protocols. My favourite thing to do is to make my own soup. I take the the hot n’ sour and add beef strips. If you’re not making your own soup, you’re missing out. The hot towels treatment is great. I’m so happy they continue this part of the experience.
This is my 2nd time visit here. The servers are really nice. Very accommodating and very nice, server always ask if we need something whenever he comes on our table. They always clear plate after you eat. Food is good, service is good and ambiance is good.
Great Lunch staff all masking which is a plus. Well decorated for Christmas. Would recommend making reservations for Pickering over the Holidays. Vegetarian options: Lots of choices Kid-friendliness: Staff very attentive and friendly Wheelchair accessibility: Accessible entrance and parking.

Ever since we moved to Pickering this place had been on our hitlist and finally we managed to get the appetite for going to the Pickering location of Mandarin. The staff here were very friendly to us. We had a great array of soups, appetizers main course and desserts to choose from. I absolutely endulged in the different types of seafood and meats in various chinese recipes. The desserts at the end were amazing as well. A great place for a big dinner, but make sure to carry an appetite.
Great food as always never a bummer time here. Kinda sad that the crème brûlée is not burnt on top and I asked to torch and they still didn’t do it properly sigh.
I went with my family for a birthday dinner, and I had two great servers. I always find the staff to be very kind, observant and hard-working. It was a lovely experience and they treated me and my family well and were attentive. There was a great food selection also. I would like to recognize Alice and Sylvia for all the great energy and hard work as well. It warmed my heart to receive a birthday cupcake and song : Thank you so very much. Thank you Mandarin.
The food was absolutely delicious, the prime beef was very good and I also like the alcohol drinks.
We had our Family Christmas here this evening. 20 adults and 8 children. Food was great, hospitality was wonderful but best of all was our server. "David" at the Pickering location was the best server we could have ask for. So kind, polite, quick to bring us drinks and whatever we needed. He laughed with us, was great with the kids and helped us with the kiddies gifts. You have a real asset in David. Thank you and Happy New Year. The Blanchards
