Expensive, very very small portions and not good taste. I feel i wasted my money eating in this place. General Tao has too much sauce and it's not delicious. I know businesses are struggling after pandemic but charging a lot of money for such small and not tasty food is not gonna help.
The food is delicious and fresh! I loved it. However, I am giving only 3 stars because they are using styrofoam plates. Also, the portions are not generous. For those prices, we usually get a bigger portion in other restaurants. We had to get a 2nd plate for my husband since he was still hungry.
Horrible experience. I felt completely exploited and insulted. I was walking past the restaurant and just reading the menu as I walked past, this lady kept insisting for me to come order, she was waving a piece of chicken for me to take as a sample, and I did. As soon as this was done, it was over. I felt like a tourist trapped, taken advantage of. She offered to buy a full dinner, I said I didn’t want to order a lot of food and asked if they sold smaller boxes of chicken only. She said she has two sizes: a small and a medium. The small cup was 6,50$ approximately and was very small for that price. The medium was like 11$ and was even worst. At this point I figured I was just gonna go with the small one and be out of here. She put six very small pieces of chicken in the box the box was not even half full, looked at me and said « 6$, 6 pieces », which wasn’t written anywhere on the menu. I answered « that’s it? ». She said yes. I said « okay so what’s the price to actually fill the small box then?… » and she said it was 11$,  which actually corresponded to the price of the medium box she had tried to sell me earlier. So with the taxes, no tip of course, I paid 9$ for 6 tiny pieces of general tao chicken. Never again. And that’s on being too kind to someone who actually just wanted to empty my pockets for a few crumbs of old chicken.
I come here very often to buy my Chinese food, today is the last time I will buy food from them, very bad service ,the lady that served me today 1 Sept was very rude and said they were under new management and couldn't separed my rice from my chicken because I didn't want the sweet Tao sauce to leak on my rice, she told me very rudely to go somewhere else if I wanted it separed, those are the new orders from her boss. They just lost a client mostly for being so rude,it seems like they don't care about their business !! Please don't a ask me to contact you Machu Wok to make this right,I'm not trying to get free food or a coupon or anything, I will not to go a place where they make me feel bad just for a having a small request, separed my rice from the chicken ......
Paid 23$ for one choice and a wonton soup, half my beef was fat and the other didn’t taste well cooked. Wonton soup didn’t taste good either.
Horrendous experience. They advertise one price and charge a different one. The two people in front of me paying were also confused with their bill. Food was mediocre at best, but it’s the deceptive upselling that pushed me to write this review
Rude employees. The 2 ladies were rushing my orders with my 2 kids and there was no one in the line up. I asked for a second cup for the kids to sgare and she was rude saying it's 50 cents. Her cups were "coffee cups" with no lids. Well it was my last time.
They do not give receipts, because the prices displayed are not same when making a payment, so they can rip off. Also, they insist on paying them tip. Day light robbers. Avoid
I kinda knew what to expect because ive been to manchuwok before but thought id order from another location.I ordered on skip. The spicy beef wasnt spicy and the chicken mushroom was pretty tasteless, the chicken was also just ok same for the noodles. I get that this is food court chinese but nothing was really tasty and its expensive
My mother and I went to Manchu Wok last weekend, and had a great time. The food is very delicious, especially the honey chicken. I like it very much. My mother told me, due to the epidemic, all kinds of food price is arising. Everyone’s life is not easy. Many restaurants closed for this. We are very grateful that we can enjoy the great food and service there.
