First time experiencing Mama Jean's Kitchen, decided to eat in, restaurant is clean, service friendly, portions gigantic! Certainly get your money's worth. Everything was hot and fresh! Steady business of pick up/take out orders, you know the place is good when it's busy.
Take out Friday. . Awesome discovery here in Cambridge, ON! . We were just driving by downtown and saw this nondescript restaurant and decided to stop in to get some take out. . Wowza! The servings were very generous and the 3 items we ordered were all authentically delicious! *** Singapore Noodles. 10/10. Very smoky, spicy yet the curry was not overwhelming and very generous with the shrimps and BBQ Pork. *** Sesame Chicken. 8/10. Crispy but very juicy and flavourful even without the sauce. Thankfully, the sauce was put on the side. Otherwise, I won’t have been able to enjoy the dish as the sauce was very vinegary. *** Cantonese Chow Mein. 9/10. Very flavoursome. It was mostly meat and shrimps and veggies - very generous with the toppings! . Will definitely return again as the service from the order taker/hostess was first rate. She was very friendly and welcoming. We only waited for 10 short minutes - lighting fast I tell ya! . Highly recommended if you’re in the area. .
I loved everything about it! The service was friendly and engaged, decor new and fun and clean, and the flood was delightfully flavourful! Portion sizes are extremely generous, making it a slam dunk on quality, quantity, and value!

A good restaurant if you’re into Canadian Chinese food. The service was good and the food was abundant and piping hot but that’s where it ends. Came to dinner with my family and we ordered the Cantonese Chow Mein, Beef and Broccoli and Wonton soup. The wonton soup was so bland and the wontons seemed like it was store bought and just boiled. The Cantonese chow mein was good at first but the sauce was a bit salty after a while, although toppings were abundant it seemed like they just used the same veggies in the Chop suey dishes. The slice beef and broccoli was the best dishes but highly recommend eating it with plain rice as it can get a bit salty
I was looking for a new Asian restaurant to try in Cambridge. This establishment came with good reviews. It was a pleasant dinner. The servers were incredibly nice, attentive, and helpful. The servings are big. The vegetables and chicken were really good. I found the noodles and fried rice to be slightly overcooked. A good meal in general. Parking: Small parking lot in the front and back of the restaurant. About 10 spots in total.
First time here...got the Singapore noodles, which were very good - perfectly seasoned, and loaded with shrimp, pork and veg. Service was top notch, as well.
Great food. Friendly staff. Will go back for sure. Reno is very nice. Clean washroom and beautiful lighting.
I am very surprised at the negative reviews this restaurant is receiving. It is likely that the other restaurants in the area are jealous of this wonderful establishment and are posting fake reviews. My son and I ate there a couple of weeks ago and I can’t say enough about how much we enjoyed everything. All very tasty, nice and hot and very good size portions. I ordered enough to take home lots of leftovers for the following day. The lady that took care of our table was amazing. Our experience was so enjoyable that we are going back again tomorrow. Don’t listen to the terrible reviews. Try it for yourself. You decide. I think you will find it to be a good eating experience. Very nice decor as well. Wish there were more stars to give. I was really excited to try this place, but my order was awful. The chicken in the chicken balls was hard, dry & over cooked. The noodles in the chop suey had a “burnt/dirty pan” taste and were inedible. My spring roll was undercooked and mushy. The bean sprouts were great, and it is a nice looking place inside, unfortunately I would not choose to return here.
