I thought it was really good - the pad Thai is delicious, very authentic. You can add extra veggies for 2.50$ here like I have and they’re generous with the portions. 1 noodle dish can feed 2 people. The screen is a bit finicky to use, you have to scroll down to order some of the things that’s the only improvement I’d say. It is takeout only by the way - but there are spots to sit nearby
The chicken & egg fried rice here is amazing, almost does justice to authentic street food in Southeast Asia, but the lack of warm or decent service is sadly not. It is understandable that they are not an actual restaurant, but the lady/cashier behind the counter was downright rude to us, especially when we were eager and enthusiastic to order.
Very good food. Pad Thai was exceptional. Ask for spicy if you can handle it, and it's yummy, authentic Thai food. However, be prepared to deal with some attitude from the shop owner so it won't come as a shock.
My first Pad Thai was at Le Faubourg building at a resto stall named Bangkok. This was many years ago and before Thai food became mainstream in MTL. Heard this was the same owner. The chicken Pad Thai was perfectly seasoned and had just the right amount of sauce. The taste was like I remembered. Delicious. Also ordered beef fried rice, dumplings in peanuts sauce, all hits. For desert, mango coconut sticky rice, a great end to the meal. Sure the service is slower vs other Thai fast food places. But this is a family run business. Good food takes time and patience will be rewarded. First timers be warned, menus plastered all over. Cheers.
Best Thai food in Montréal. Stir fry dishes are very delicious with their spicy sauce. Missed them when they moved out and now back since March, 2021. May be dur to the pandemic, the prices seems went up a bit. For 2 of us, we had spent $34 for a lunch with 1 iced coffee, at this food court environment. Anyhow, it is worth because of the taste of the food.
Be : if you want your day or your evening ruined by one single rude ugly female server sadly, she is the only one who works at front , come to this pathetic food court. All you will get is her unfriendly, more like rude attitude, unreasonable answers about your food , let alone dangerous food packages, plz check my pics down below, be careful ! You may hurt yourself by opening it, and the restaurant cares nothing at all! Worst restaurant that I' ve been in the whole country !
Very disappointing with the chicken wings… if u like the frozen taste u may order… taste not great… room for improvement! Ice thai tea is good! Tom Yum shrimps is fresh but soup taste can be better!
I'm torn between 3-4 stars. First, the customer service is rude especially with the cashier. I asked her for some sauce since there was only one left and she answered if there's none there's none with an attitude as if I had bothered her. After ordering, we had to wait a long time for a fast food kind of service around 25 minutes. However, the portions are very generous and delicious. I like their chicken pad Thai the best, their shrimp and pineapple and Tom yum soup wasn't bad as well.
If you can handle the spiciness, ask the kitchen for spicy food then you will have super authentic Thai flavour. Generous portion. My favorite so far is Breaded Fish Pad Thai, chicken fried rice their fried rice, wow, and Bbq duck red curry. The Mango sticky rice for dessert just bring me back to Asian where I have this dish all the time before, amazing. Thai ice tea is nice, too but hard to have it sometimes since they sold out fast. The quality is in the food, please keep in mind for that and you should not expect anything fancier for the service.
I definitely recommand this place if you have a craving for thai food. They have a lot of choices! I’ve tried the thai milk tea and the thai coffee. It’s good but not wow, but it’s not that expensive if you want a drink with your meal. The pad thai is good! If you like it spicy tell them in advance. The deep fried tofu with peanut sauce is so good and crispy! It’s a really nice appetizer to share. The green curry with chicken is good. Chicken with lots of vegetables. If you don’t like bamboo, tell them when you order or try the yellow curry. You have to order a bowl of rice since it’s not included but the portion is huge! The serving portion is great you won’t be hungry after trying out this place. I really want to try their mango sticky rice but it’s always sold out. Also, try to be there at the opening since there is a lot of people and the wait can be long. Enjoy!
