This is a wonderful area to explore and hike. Marked trails offer several options for difficulty and duration. Adequate parking, outhouses, and forest maps. Informative signage provides numerous opportunities to learn.
Hidden gem, great trails. Hiked here in early May and saw a couple of black bears right at the beginning, near the gate. I stayed my safe distance respectfully but it was a good reminder that everytime we are out in the wild, we are in their backyard.
Such a beautiful place. So many trails to explore, easy moderate or hard. Definitely find a trail map and download it before you head out, it's easy to get turned around. A little peice of heaven.
Great place to get some peace and quiet in with a nature walk. Not all the trails are maintained the same. Some are good and some have a lot of roots, rocks and ankle twisters. The blue trail is good in places but classed as "rough" in others. Not good overall unless you're nimble. Some elevations involved as well on blue. The lookout on blue is getting minimized by overgrowth.
Bit better trail markers and bit more bathrooms further up. But omg beautiful scenery. The walk thru the woods is incredible. A picnic along the way is a great idea too.
I've been hiking here for years, it's definitely a hidden gem of the Fraser Valley. Loads of trails criss cross the area with some beautiful views and scenery. Trails are mostly well established with only a few that are slightly overgrown. There are some areas that have been logged and are now re-growing, which showcases the sustainability of the forestry sector. Even though I've been coming here for years there is still plenty left to explore, I look forward to returning. Highly recommended visit!
Awesome "Colored" trail system. The Red, Yellow, Blue and Green are all great in their own ways. The roads are good too. This is a great workout for an hour or four.
Beautiful trails - three different options, different lengths. No dogs allowed as it's a research forest. Very quiet. Watch out for bears and wildlife. Filled with moss, ferns, and tall trees
Hiked the Blue Trail with friends recently and was rewarded with a great view at the top lookout. A few fairly steep sections. Beautiful research forest, no dogs allowed.
Enjoyed a great tour here. Definitely will come back to explore some of the trails
