I cannot believe how nice they are and how wonderful food it is before I eat here. It is very impressive experience to me. The beef soup with cheese bread are amazing dish that I never ate before. Before I continue my driving, she even gives me free coffee. Nice place and person here!
We stumbled upon this place after the power went out in all of Revelstoke. I'm glad it worked out. Wonderful service and fantastic food. Eggs looked farm fresh. Veggies in the omelettes we extra crisp. All the facilities had charm but were very clean. Would visit again.
It’s a lovely small cafe on the highway. The burgers are super delicious. Cafe has a beautiful outdoor patio area overlooking the mountains. Loved the food, service and experience. Vegetarian options available.
I was passing by on my bicycle ride for GCC Canada and I saw a neat little cafe off the highway alongside the service road. I was greeted by a super polite server, my the owner. Loved my food which was, in my opinion, too reasonably priced. They must only be able to do this because of the following of regulars. But this time I didn’t even get the chance to leave a tip because they decided to make their donation to this Sick Kids rider. A free dinner. And their spaghetti was fantastic. Thanks a lot guys! -Scott schurink
Definitely worth the stop! The food was amazing. Great prices for amazing portions. We had the Salisbury Steak and it was absolutely delicious. Total comfort food, prepared perfectly. It was prepared with care and was cooked perfectly. The woman who served and cooked was very friendly and made us feel like we were at home. I'll definitely be back.
Great food and great atmosphere! Rona, Bryan, Heather, Jena, and Trinity are the best! I suggest any of the breakfast, the cheeseburgers, the spaghetti and meat sauce, as well as the roast beef dinner
The absolute best breakfast I’ve had on the road. Very friendly, clean and cozy. Best pan fried hash browns, eggs were perfect, ham was perfect. The butter on my toast was even melted in, not like Husky’s in Sicamous where they butter cold toast. This will definitely be my stop from now on.
Amazing and cozy restaurant, a super warm and friendly atmosphere. The food tastes and feels like soul food, each meal made with love! The staff makes everyone feel like family, they deserve more glowing reviews! Also they make a REALLY good bacon mushroom cheeseburger!
I just wanted to say a big thank you to the lovely ladies that took care of us last night. The hamburger soup and fish and chips were delicious! Thank you for taking care of us even though it was almost time for you to close. We appreciate your kindness more than you know. If you have not had a chance to check out the Malakwa Cafe, go and visit these lovely people. The food is amazing, large portions and very budget friendly. The friendliness and genuine smiles make you feel welcome and at home. An all around great place that everyone should enjoy.
Don't let the look of the old place fool you. The food is surprisingly amazing, very fairly priced. We ordered 5 different dishes and all were top notch. Heather was our waitress and Rona was the mastermind of the delicious food, we didn't get to speak to Rona but Heather was a wonderful waitress and very pleasant at what she does. I won't judge the place based on the look but the food and prices deserve more then 5 stars.
