I call it a covid sushi experience. The sushi is really good, but the sushi rolls and fish portions are small. What? Is there a shortage of rice and fish? The prices are still the same, but the quantity is not. I'm finding this situation at most sushi places now.
Love, love, love!!! I have been going here for a while and they never disappoint.I have always received great service and the best food. The prices are good as well. I feel like I am getting outstanding quality rather than going elsewhere and paying "Rochester Prices" for subpar food.
Our favorite sushi place in the area! Great customer service and great sushi rolls! We got a plethora of rolls like the crunchy crab, sweet potato tempura, teriyaki chicken, kogi, and others. All good!
Make sure you’re looking at the right Makimoto sushi on university drive. One website has one set of prices but they’ll change when you go to pick up the food. Then they’ll claim that they can’t do anything about the website and the prices. It’s the most I’ve ever paid for one sushi roll and miso soup anywhere.
This place is the best, great Sushi, great service friendly staff. I have only eaten lunch there, but always walk out looking forward to the next time!
Everything is good here. This isn’t the closest sushi place for us but the extra time in the car is totally worth it.
