Always a pleasure to shop here, have an array of furniture and accessories made in canada for all tastes of all sizes. Nice selection of Canadian pieces but horrible customer services. Bought a custom sectional after 1 month looked horrible couch cushions sagging and fabric piling. No kids or pets in the home, we are just two adults sitting on couch and it looks 10 years old already. Definitely not worth what I’ve paid Have been calling/emailing for last 9 months to find a solution and offered to pay extra to have the cushions fixed so couch could look presentable. I call they don’t answer, email me back instead and I get told we’ll send some in 2 week never came then seamstress not available will be back in 2 weeks, I call back after I get no updates and still no response.
We ordered some bedroom furniture remotely and had it shipped to our home. While we have never been in the store, our experience dealing with Mihran and his staff was second to none. They answered all of our questions promptly and courteously, making the online shopping experience very smooth. We ended up having the headboard of our bed damaged beyond repair during shipping which was disappointing. The store could have easily hung us out to dry, but in fact the opposite happened. They were 110% supportive, taking full ownership of the situation, dealing directly with the shipper, and having a replacement manufactured and shipped to us on a rush basis. Possibly the best post-purchase customer service I have every experienced. Incredible accountability. I cannot recommend Maison Mikaza enough. 10 stars!
It's been a pleasure working with Mihran and his team to furnish our new apartment. We bought large pieces to rugs and wall art, and it all looks great and it's all Canadian!. They keep a nicely curated selection of items in the store, but also know their suppliers' catalogs and can order most anything. We're thrilled to have them in the neighborhood and it seems we always find something new to buy whenever we stop in.
Products are good, but purchasing experience lacks professionalism. Two weeks after the order of our product, we were told that the product itself was no longer available. Knowing the price of the transaction, I would expect a much higher degree of diligence.
I wanted to buy some furnitures so I got in touch with someone at mikaza...the person would answer days later...after some back and forth I told that person I was ready to purchase the furnitures but never got back to me. The entire process makes me doubt of the legitimacy of the company. Honestly I would rather pay more somewhere else knowing that I'll get the product I'm looking for without having to worry.
