Story

Madistan is a small, family-owned, halal Pakistani/Mediterranean eatery in the heart of UW campus! It was founded by Amin and Naheed Shaikh in 2015 and is currently being run by the Qureshi family. Our customer service is unmatched, and our food is as fresh as possible.

At Madistan we serve traditional and halal dishes in a clean and welcoming environment. All of our mouthwatering dishes are served at unbeatable prices. University of Wisconsin students love how quick, affordable and tasty our meals are, especially our gyros, cheeseburger and falafel. Our chicken biryani has quickly become famous, so come in and try it!

Best wings ever!! And the fries are so good
We enjoy going out. Last night we came to this fine place which friends told us about. We spent a beautiful time there with superb food and a nice team and a great chief cook. We put this fine restaurant in our list and we will definitely visit again soon. We highly recommend.

Randomly picked from a Google search to get some Indian-ish food on a recent visit. We ate it, though it's probably more take-out friendly. That staff was great and offered up three recommend dishes for sharing. Food was tasty and inexpensive.
Chicken shawarma was not good. Big chunks of iceberg lettuce cores for some reason. Meat lacking flavor and pita soggy. Fries just tossed into paper bag without container.
