Madigan's

GREAT burgers and SCRUMPTIOUS fries! Both among the best we've had! The wings wirh bones-in were also delicious! Service was also very attentive and warm. When we go back to Allen, as we plan, we'll make a return visit for sure!

Madigan's was decent while it was open. The food tasted okay and the staff was nice enough. I don't think it's anything to get excited over, but it was overall alright. The interior was decorated quite nicely but the music they chose to play was pretty stale and bland. Also wished they would stay open later, they tended to close pretty early considering they're supposed to be a bar!

A roomy and friendly drinking hole in the evenings on the weekend and a family restaurant by day. Their servers are friendly and most of the time, if not super busy, quick with a joke and a light of your smoke..Outside Only, just kidding. Pool tables, a dancing floor but most fun of all karaoke Superstars on Friday night. Their liquor selection is limited but you can count on them to have a nice small selection of craft beers as well as domestics. Locally owned and a great small business to support while drinking a beer and eating a burger.

Excellent food and delightful atmosphere. The best. The waitress Abbey was absolutely wonderful, personable, and paid close attention to us. We appreciated all the good work and the great experience!

Was mediocre at best , my house burger tastes almost freezer burnt, the wife's Philly bun was burnt , the sampler platter of apps was nothing exciting, thought the jalapeno caps sounded good but they where mushy lol I got the coffee lager and it seemed flat to say the least. Just a slandered place to go nothing was really all that great not a place I would go out of my way to visit

Poor service. Had a group of 22 people with one waitress. Coffee was lukewarm. Had to ask for silverware. Had to wait 20 minutes after we were all done eating for our bill. Probably won't go back

My family lives in Litchfield and visit Madigan's frequently. I live out of town, so this past weekend I took my husband and our friends to Madigan's for the first time! The bar itself looks great! Great for Litchfield. However, we were a bit disappointed in a few things. No pineapple juice, no chips and no philly steak and cheese. We were okay with that and ordered other items off of the menu. The food was great! Then it comes to the bill. The waitress handed us our bill and both my friend and I handed our debit cards to her. She informed us that they only accepted cash. Which neither of us knew. They did have an ATM there in the restaurant, however, it was out of service. We had to walk across the street to CNB. My friend and her husband have CNB banking, however, as previously stated, my husband and I live out of town so we had the service fee added to our withdrawal. We were a bit disappointed when leaving Madigan's. Note to the owners: Probably should put a sign up that says, "Cash Only" for out-of-towners like myself. There is just something about having to leave the restaurant to take out cash to pay for dinner that shouldn't sit right for a business owner.

Was doing some work at Metaldyne in Litchfield, and found this place for lunch. Food was OK - typical bar food. I handed my credit card to the woman that cashed me out, and she scanned it with the cc attachment on her iPad. No big deal, that is, until I received my receipt via email. The receipt had the charge for my meal, the tip, and much to my surprise, there was a 3.99% "Square Admission Fee" added for using my cc. I was not made aware of this before I let her run my card, and, I would have handed her cash if I was. I called my bank, explained what happened, and the bank took the charge off. Very underhanded way of doing business. If you have to eat here, pay with cash, or else beware of using plastic.

Great food, great atmosphere, great service, there's nothing not to love about this place

I got a virgin strawberry daiquiri and they made it wrong. It has ice not crushed with the strawberry flooring. I asked it to be fixed and the waitress said they don't make it with crushed ice.
