Unreal food! Got the double burger, and my lord it was massive! They don't skimp out on flavour. Quantity and quality all in one box! High recommend, from someone on the road who delivers vehicles for Pacific Nations Auto Sales. I'll be back to try that poutine!
had the poutine, smothered in gravy but had the wrong type of cheese on it. no curds they just used orange cheddar. good fries.Food: 3/5
We’ve been travelling British Columbia for the past week, eating halibut and chips as we go. Macy’s is the best so far. Very chunky pieces of halibut with a tasty batter. Thin but tasty fries. Came with lots of condiments and eco friendly packaging. Recommended.
Macy's Place is an awesome option to stop for an easy and delicious lunch in Port Hardy. It is situated directly across from the Visitors Center and a nice waterfront park with picnic benches and a kids playground. There was ample parking. The fish tacos were served on a soft tortilla shell that tasted like it was made fresh in-house. The fried halibut and fries were awesome. Will hope to visit again one day!
Best fish and chips I've had in ages. It was hot and fresh, the batter was delicious and perfectly proportioned. Excellent fries. The 2 piece cod and chips was perfect for sharing.
So yummy! Ordered the two piece Halibut but ended up with one piece of each, so that was a happy accident! Delicious fresh fish and chips with smiley, friendly service. What more do you need? I'm looking forward to going back again soon.
Best fish and chips!! And the Salmon burger when it’s on the menu is a do not miss, yum!! Need to still try the shrimp tacos and the chowder!! And it’s a 5 minute walk!
Probably THE BEST place to eat out in town. Fish is always fresh, burgers always juicy, and fries are always crispy! Take my money!!!

Hole in a cargo container. Shrimp tacos were loaded with delicious large shrimp and coleslaw. Fish was nicely seasoned and battered and the fries were large and crispy. The portions were quite large and money well spent. Hopefully they add a covered eating area, because it rained everyday that we were there. I will come back here if I'm ever in Port Hardy...maybe one day.
