Been a few times to Macu Tea. They have three other locations DT, Kerrisdale and Burnaby. Wait is 15 to 30 min. Drinks are $6.00 to $8.75. Nice that they put a small bench at the back.nn- ACE strawberry avocado smoothie $8.75 - slightly too icy. Would be better if they blended the strawberries fullyn- Premium orange li-li tea $7.75n- Bo-bo grape smoothie $8.25 - green tea jelly and bo-bo agar were good. Thick, smooth texture. One of their best flavoursn- Grapefruit li-li with honey drink $7.95 and boba $1.00 extra - plain but a good chew. Real bits of tart grapefruit
Hadn’t to wait long to get the smoothie..nI got the chi-chi strawberry and it was really good.. Loved the fact that it didn’t have much sugar..nnOrder placing is convenient..nnFinding a parking spot is super tough..nnIf they had some seating space it would have been ideal..
One of the best bubble tea place in town. I like their king mango smoothie the most but they offer it only in summer. The other seasonal drinks are good as well since they make them from fresh/seasonal fruits.
4 stars because there are no tables or seats and it’s a self-service kiosk; would be 5 stars if the ambiance was nicer. The King of Mango smoothie cannot be customized for sugar or ice level. It’s nice, not too sweet. Great milky mango flavour! 30% sugar Tieguanyin Oolong Milk Tea had a lovely, smooth mouthfeel. Great tea flavour, would recommend both drinks!nnIf you would like a bubble tea to-go beverage holder, ask the staff, and they are more than happy to put one on for you!
Delicious Bubble Tea – Worth the Wait!nnMACU Tea in Richmond is definitely a must-visit for bubble tea lovers! Their drinks are so tasty and fresh, and you can really taste the quality in every sip. The shop is super popular, so expect it to be very busy—but honestly, that just proves how good it is!nnI was a little bummed that their famous Mango Chichi was sold out won’t be back until next week!, but I tried the fresh taro yam drink instead, and it was absolutely delicious. Smooth, flavorful, and not too sweet—just perfect!nnI’ll definitely be back to finally try the Mango Chichi, but based on what I had, I know it’ll be worth the wait. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for high-quality bubble tea in Richmond!
