Story

Located in the heart of the 1000 Islands Region, Macsherry Library is your source for fun and learning all year long. We have all kinds of fiction and non-fiction, reference, cookbooks, children's books, gardening books, etc. If we don't have a book, we can likely order it through inter-library loans. We also have books on CD, and a selection of movies (DVDs and VHS) for borrowing. Need to check your email or surf the web? Visit our computer room or use our free WiFi. We also have scanners, a copier* and a fax machine* for public use (*charges apply).

Monday: 9am to 5pm; 7pm to 9pm
Tuesday: 9am to 5pm; 7pm to 9pm
Wednesday: 9am to 5pm; 7pm to 9pm
Thursday: 9am to 5pm; 7pm to 9pm
Friday: 9am to 5pm
Saturday: 9am to 5pm
Sunday: Closed
Closed on New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas.

Reviews
We visit the community every year or two, and we always stop by the library. This place is charming, albeit small, and the staff is quite helpful. We buy books at their used booksale, and get to see what the patrons get to enjoy. Not a huge selection, but a representative one, and of course, as part of the North Country library system, they can GET most everything within a week or so, just as our own library (a part of the same system) does. Don't miss this wee gem!
