Advisors and counselors here are of no use. The various deans are unwilling to assist in tight situations. Graduation rates are at 12%. Salaries of recent grads are at 30,000. Save your money. You can make this salary without a formal education. Do yourself a favor and teach yourself. Or, if you want a better education at no cost, look into University of the People. Macomb has done me no favors; the money I've spent there gave me no leverage when I needed honest assistance. American education is about the money they take in, not about the quality of your education. Take some classes and see for yourself. There is no one to govern the quality or depth of material professors are expected to teach--i.e. different sections teach different material, testing difficulty varies vastly from section to section, and many professors can't even assure their teaching materials are free of simple grammatical errors. It is probably pointless that I even write this; most people probably wont believe me--but realize, I took my time to write this for you. I am not writing this out of anger, but rather out of disagreement with the American school system. They would rather build new buildings to attract new students, rather than invest into a team of people who govern the material taught to assure their students are recieiving a quality education. Take a look at how much money Macomb just spent on refacing their buildings; or even how much Wayne State just spent on it's Student Service Center. And then look at how much time and money they have spent on their students' quality of education. You will not find information about the latter because there isn't any. Rather, they insist students take on this role. Yet, we aren't paying thousands of dollars to learn from those who have barely grasped a topic. We are paying thousands of dollars to learn from professionals, but obviously the deans making 280,000 a year see it differently. What are they doing? No one has a clue except for the others involved in administration. It is a front and we are being scammed by these institutions. Education should be free and there are people out there right now proving that it is possible. One of them I already mentioned. Everyone has the right to know, but these institutions see otherwise. They continue to increase tuition rates and mention nothing as to why. These increases do not correlate to economic inflation, yet nobody questions it.

If I could give zero stars I would, this is easily the worst school any one could pick. The teachers are horrific and inattentive and they clearly don't care about their students. This school is garbage do you self a favor and go to another community college. Not only are the teachers worthless but so are the administrators and in general the whole staff. All this school cares about is money and give no mind to personal situations. I hate this school and wish I never attended.

I didn't care for it , didn't care for the teachers , didn't have much passion. Everyone gathers around the teacher after class session is over bc their too afraid to ask questions during class which is annoying... Just wasn't a good experience, they need focus on more hands on teaching then just books n talk
