Amazing donuts. I am usually not a big fan of vegan bakes but this shop is just mind blowing. The donuts are soft, slightly chewing and the toppings are very flavourful with just the right amount of sweetness. Come here around 930 and it's hard to beat fresh donuts with an espresso which is also great. Service is friendly and attentive.
Tried almost every single flavour available. A must try if you want to do a donut binge. Most of their donuts looks really sweet but once you tried it... just enough sweetness. Good vegan donuts. Nice service as well.
Quite possibly the best doughnuts I've ever had. I was blown away by the taste, there is zero compromise going on here to make these vegan. They are as delicious as they look. I was helped by a very friendly staff member who packed the doughnuts well enough to survive the trip back to the office with the amazing presentation intact. I am definitely coming back.
We came here couple of years ago and we loved it. This time I had big expectations. They have a nice display of the flavours with the prices on it. You can see they are big donuts. Prices are cheaper than other vegan donuts. They are $3.50 or $3 depending on the flavour, and cinnamon sugar is $2.75. I got lavender, passion fruit and hazelnut and guava. The big disappointment were the flavours. I really struggle to get the passion fruit. Mainly sweet. And the lavender was supper settled, almost nothing. Hazelnut needs more of the chocolate hazelnut glaze on top. The guava one has a very light pink cream inside, no guava flavour. I will say they are big and pretty glazed donuts. Pillowy and chewy greasy and sweet. I guess all you want from a donut. Maybe I should have try the mango one that is more popular and the brownie one. Probably next time. Also is only take away. Hope it helps!
While maybe not as famous yet as its neighbour, Machino Donuts deserves much more hype and recognition in the vegan donut world. Got a bunch of donuts and was really pleased. All of them were fluffy and chewy at the same time, and had a good amount of icing that was sweet enough to make you know you were eating a donut but not too sweet to make you sick. Favourite flavours were the Simpson pink icing, lots of sprinkles and the regular donut so soft and chewy!. Least favourite was the fritter thought it was a bit too crunchy and tad oily. I think their flavours are seasonal though, so I bet I'll keep on checking them out.
I normally have a hard time with donuts bc they tend to be overly sweet! But these were just the right amount of sugar to be able to finish the whole thing! Tried the mango puppy seed, and that was my favourite!
Very fresh vegan donuts, got a 6 pack and able to eat them a couple days after purchase without them being completely stale. Got brownie, mango caramel, Simpson, apple fritter, Christie cream and carrot cake. All good flavours, apple fritter and mango caramel were my favourites.
Tried the Red Velvet and the Blueberry Cheesecake donuts and they were absolutely delicious! Cant’t believe they are vegan too! Definitely will be back soon!
Delicious and light donuts and cronuts. I had a lavender Earl Grey cronut and I believe I saw heaven with every chew. Yes Lord. The Simpson looks like Homer’s fav donut and has a raspberry-flavoured icing with sprinkles. Friendly staff in this small takeout place across from Christie Park. Run, don’t walk, to Machino.
I must say, donuts are normally way down on my list of sweet things to eat. Normally too oily and too sweet. These donuts were neither of those things - they were absolutely perfect. Very fresh and doughy and light. Not dripping in oil as you often find. The flavours were excellent. Can't fault them and would wholeheartedly recommend!
