Story

Located a short 3min from the Trans Canada Highway, in the growing community of St. Andrews NS, MacDonald’s Convenience has been family owned and operated for the past 21 years. Originally the local St. Andrews Co-Op Store, we have turned it into a convenience store, agency liquor store and gas bar, which is now the only remaining gas bar in all of Antigonish County.

We believe strongly in supporting our community and are proud to support other local business whenever possible; Purchasing our fuel from MacGillivray Fuels, ice cream and dairy products from Farmers Dairy and Saputo (Scotsburn), Pomquet Pantry for our bakery products & sweets, Cottage Bakery in Louisdale for their highly desired meat & chicken pies, Christmas trees & wreaths from local farmers. We also sell local honey, maple syrup, homemade socks and mittens in the winter and other products locally produced by people in the community. A fresh pot of coffee is on the brew at 6 o’clock every morning and welcomes you to take a look around.
