This place is a huge recreation center and has almost everything. It's perfect for families and kids. There is a swimming pool, water park, Gym, indoor field, running track, ice hockey rink, curling, squash fields, etc. and also a two story library. The library is loaded with all kids stuff at the first floor and there is almost everything in the second floor including personal computer station, magazine, audio books, chess table, puzzle table, etc. You can enjoy all day in this recreation center and don't get bored.

Had a bit so pleasant experience but when I brought the situation up they were very professional and handled the situation in the proper manner. Also the ladies at the child’s mine are great as well! My kids love it there. MacDonald island is a great place for families.

This is simply the best community centre in all of Canada. There is none better. Indoor water park, Olympic size pool, large smaller family pool, adult hot tub, kids and family warm hot tub, not one but 2 huge water slides, splashed and kiddy water slide and water play structure, lazy river , saunas dry and steam. Not to mention the 3 ice rinks, 4 curling sheets , climbing wall, large weight room, cardio area, fitness class rooms, 2 indoor hard floor gyms, indoor running track, food vendors, indoor kids play areas, multiple change Rooms. So much more I can’t even keep typing. Check it out if you haven’t been yet.

Great facility with everything and much more! Huge pools with waterslides, hot tub, steam room and sauna. Many activities such as the gymnasium, squash courts, curling,rock climbing,hockey,family skating, volleyball/floor hockey courts. All at a reasonable cost!

Beautiful facilities and great staff, but has no parking for busy days. Also only has 1 easy access bathroom
