Don't miss this place when you come to Brandon! Excellent service and food. I nice small unassuming diner, but with class. The food is laid out lovely and the portions are amazing. Most of their goodies are home made. I had the Chicken Caesar salad, and my friend - the Chef Salad. She had to take half of it home. **Warning: You may need a doggie bag to go!
They knew their food. We had a celiac in the mix and they put her at ease. No issues with gluten. Instant win for us. Food was delicious! The "Fatty Melt" double burger between two grilled cheese sandwiches was amazing!
My mom and I were so excited to find a restaurant that still serves taco salad in a tortilla bowl! We went for lunch with my husband and sister who had patty melts and everything was amazing! Delicious and great service - we'll be back!
The most amazing place to eat. You will find us here once or two a week! Lol!
It was good. Lots of fries! The waitress wasn't the friendliest.. seemed like maybe she was having a bad day. The table was sticky and we used a baby seat and it was dirty. Had to wipe it down before using, wasn't thrilled about that. But overall was okay.

Kind of a small truck stop sort of feel here. The food is pretty good too, although I never seem to be in the area when I see an awesome daily special lol. At least if you get the special you get a drink and slice of pie. Homemade fries here are the best and I still need to try their greek version. My only complaint really is the coffee. Either it's watered down or some incredibly cheap stuff because it just doesn't taste good when I come here 3-6pm. Gordon Ramsay would definitely say something lol. I hate asking for fresh stuff because I'm not like that, but I'll just have a tea or something else next time.
Absolutely amazing service, the food is always fresh and hot. East side is definitely my go to for a Sunday brunch.
First time at this location. The food was out fast, very good portions, delicious & friendly service. Would I go back again? Absolutely!
Jay’s Eastside Eatery is central to the industrial heartland of Brandon and a short ride along Richmond. Portions are favourable as is the service. A treat when they do their special menus/buffets for calendar events like Mothers Day, etc!
