The parking situation was a little crazy. But we ended up find a spot as someone was leaving. I don't think the organizers of the Summer Solistice Festival thought it would be that "big" of a turn out. There was tonnes of stuff for kids to do and see...from spirit horses, to live entertainment, story-telling, play area, pow-wow, etc. The food service was a little slow. But I think the food trucks are a separate operation. Overall this was a great experience for our family. I would go again.
I really enjoyed visiting this place during the summer solstice for my birthday. The indigenous festival was fun despite the rain and the people are always welcoming and kind. It was an honor to meet the artist Rhonda Snow and buy her art
Festival to enjoy with kids and let them discover the indigenous experience. The Madahoki maple syrup is authentic and the best. Support the community and shop their handmade art too.Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedYes
I really enjoyed our visit here. I learned a lot about Indigenous culture and was excited to hear how many learning activities were available. The gift shop showcased Indigenous artists and had a huge selection of items. The pig was so cute <3
We went for Pibòn winter festival. We tried some nice bannock and berry tea. Saw some Spirit horses. Watched and listened to traditional song and dance. Listened to the history of the Spirit horses. There were many crafts, painting and prints for purchase. It was a nice afternoon of learning and experience. I will come back again.
Enjoyed visiting the petting zoo, bring some cash to fed farm animals. I listened to some drumming, the store in the building was very busy, the stalls we great. And got food paid with debit for Bannock so yummyVisited onPublic holidayWait time10–30 minReservation recommendedNot sure
Such a great place, can't wait to see it grow and evolve over time! The Indigenous Marketplace has beauitful artwork, yummy food, and other unique items that would make great gifts.
I love this farm. The owner and her daughters are so passionate about the Spirit horses! Such a beautiful species. What a wonderful day we spent outdoors. The aboriginal crafts and the homemade, all natural products are just the icing on the cake! This was, by far, a fascinating and uplifting experience!
We went there for Spring festival and ate the indeginous meal, it was a good experience and we will come back for their futur festivals
Volunteered to help with setup of long table dinner. Fabulous staff and volunteers - hardworking and friendly, enthusiastic to share summer solstice, culture, and traditions with others in the community. Excellent family experience. Dinner looked and smelled amazing. Dinner entertainers were also talented and energetic. Will return in the future.
