I am very satisfied with the work done by M & D Builders. This is the 3rd major renovation we have had done by Mike and his crew and they were once again fantastic. Their pricing was very competitive and I have complete confidence in their abilities to accomplish the job on time, on budget and with amazing results. With Mike’s confident in structural engineering field, he provides us with drawings/plans for the building permit as required by the city of Toronto for our addition project. we were informed of their plans/schedules and all deadlines were met as promised Mike were available by text or email and responded almost immediately to any questions or concerns we had. I would highly recommend M & D for any upcoming project you have in mind and will certainly contract them again for our upcoming projects.

The decision to undertake our home basement renovation required considerable thought, planning and financial resources. Mike and his team far exceeded our expectations. From the start of the project they maintained excellent daily communication, follow up and guidance. The quality of work was exceptional. Arriving on time each day, reviewing each stage and promptly addressing changes along the way. They were professional and truly committed to ensuring a positive client experience. We are very satisfied with the amazing transformation of our basement and would happily recommend Mike and his team.

We had Mike and his team do our kitchen and renovation of main floor to make it open concept. They did an amazing job and we were so happy with the work they did. Mike was always available to talk or answer questions no matter when I messaged! There was added work that came up in our older home but Mike did his best to manage costs and they worked so hard to get us back into our home as quick as possible, even working on a long weekend. I had worried about hiring a contractor after a previous bad experience but I would recommend M&D buildings to anyone. They are trustworthy and will do their best to make sure you are satisfied.

Mike were extremely helpful in working together with us to create a design that would meet our needs. He gave us a great advice and input on all decisions regarding design, decor and materials to use. Mike had no trouble in answering any of our questions during the work, his prices were competitive and I did shop around before hiring them. Mike were approachable throughout the process and always returned phone calls and emails. He was open to our ideas about what we wanted and they fit the projects to meet our needs and budget. Mike Has an outstanding crew / trades that you can depend on. Overall, we are very happy with the end result and will consider hiring him again when we are ready to start our next project!

I initially contacted M & D Builders in late July 2017 along with 3 other companies who specialized in structural renovations and kitchens to get quotes and a timeline to undertake the work, should we decide to go with them. We selected M & D, not only because they came recommended from a friend who used them a couple years earlier, but they were also the most responsive in terms of answering questions, providing clarifications when asked and of course price. Mike and his crew did a great job from start to finish. They started on time every day and kept the job site clean. I was kept informed on things as they progressed, and they worked really well with other trades coming in. They explained options clearly and solved problems, and even finished ahead of time. Everything came out great, the process went very smoothly, and everyone was a pleasure to interact with. Great service all around - absolutely recommended.”
