Very nice park, bring some bird and squarrel food - it is fun to feed the wildlife. The park is pretty big but linear and put on entry of sunscreen - you do need to stroll through the sunny fields a lot. The lakeside of the park is absolutely beautiful with a large secluded beach and clean water. The parking is $6 fo a day.Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo
Wonderful walk at Lynde Shores - all the deer were out. We managed to see 13 of them. You can only walk your dogs on the paved waterfront trail to protect the wildlife here so not really a great venue for dogs if you want the full experience. But they are clear about that on the website and the trails are well marked so you know which ones to take.
Lynde Shores Conservation Area is perfect for some time spent in nature ... beautiful spot for pictures. Birds and animals will feed from you hand. Great for kids and a little day adventure. There is a small parking lot, parking is a small fee but worth it. ** Tip - take bird seed, sunflower seeds etc with you You will definitely see chipmunks, squirrels, ducks, swans and canadian geese as you enter the conservation area.
Winter time here is magical there are so many animals. The ducks are so friendly they come right up to you. They are usually looking for food, but please don’t feed them. This area is also not dog friendly but great for a walk.
Beautiful and relaxing conservation area with both paved and natural trails to follow. An abundance of wildlife deer, birds, squirrels, etc. for nature lovers and photographers. Mix of forest trails, open fields, and scenic water views. Perfect for families and people of all ages. Entirely flat terrain, easy to use. Only $6.00 max for parking makes it very economical for hours of enjoyment. Did not see any amenities bathrooms, food, picnic tables coming in from the Hall St entrance. However, the park is close to nearby shops and restaurants driving distance. The entire park was immaculate. Bring some bird seeds and your camera or canvas! Enjoy!
Accessible parking, flat trails, viewing platforms for wetland areas and access to shoreline of Lake Ontario. Also a popular area for birders. Lynde Shores is an excellent location for shorter, easy hikes of 1-2 hr duration.
Any time of year this is a lovely place to hike and explore. The birdwatching is great, but just the scenery alone is worth it. Do note the parking is NOT free.
There is always a great deal of wild life around dusk and dawn and a great place to catch a glimpse of swans and other diverse birds. Great laved trail along with gravel . Many parts to explore .
A beautiful pristine conservation park. Great trails to bike or walk. Had a lovely day enjoying the natural environment and seeing the animals in their own safe space.
