Went to this place for the first time to try it as it is close by to my home and I drive by it on a regular basis. I am giving it a four-star for the following reasons. Overall the food was really good and relatively well priced for the portions. The only reason I removed a star is that this is a shisha bar so for someone who is not as comfortable around smoke, you are constantly surrounded by it as people are smoking at every table. I understand this is the concept of the restaurant although I would have appreciated if they advise you of that when you first walk in so that you can make a choice and not be stuck with smoke while you're eating your meal.
Really good customer service. They are constantly monitoring the door for who's coming, and immediately check in with you for a reservation. Seating isn't difficult before 9:00 PM, but after that it's mostly reservation. There is outside and inside seating. The TV is usually on soccer matches. The music is nice too. Bathrooms are pretty clean. There is a large variety of hookah, and they give good recommendations. Always replacing the charcoal too. The menu is large and has a lot of options. Savory, sweet, breakfast, lunch, dinner, alcaholic, and non-alcoholic drinks. They have Arak too. It's all good too, and fresh. Overall, it's a good entertainment spot with plenty of parking, and really good service. Worth the money and the time, and plenty of seating. The prices are really fair too, and there is a large diversity of people coming in.
One of my favorite chilling spots! The food is excellent and the portions are very generous. The shisha and tea are also really good. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended!
Always a good experience at lylac. Their service is quick, location is good, nice vibe and so many option to choose from on the menu Easy to find a parking and friendly staff. Prices are very reasonable for a night out . They have the bestttt cheese rolls!! Keep em coming. We ordered garlic potatoes, crispy chicken tenders fries, and tea afterwards Have been going there for years. Always a spot I will recommend
The food quality is definitely up there. Good quality olive oil for the taboulé and the kabab seasoned to perfection. I would have given it a 5 if only the service and the reception were better. I still have a lot of dishes to try so I am going back. Keep it up
Good food.. Great location, parking available.. I suggest if you want to come for weekend night to book and reserve in advance Reasonable price and fresh food Halal I strongly recommend the owner to treat men as mixed group as we face difficulties to set outside , never mind as they deserved 5 Stars
Great food, great vibe, and good service. The quality of food is really good, especially as a shisha cafe, and it comes out of the kitchen quickly. You need to make reservations in advance for weekends. Their main opportunity is with check out; you might have to wait for 15-20 min to pay your bill.

Pros : Cleanest shishas I’ve seen, clearly they take good care of them. Cheese and zaatar pita was top and the meat mix kebab was really good. The ambiance is amazing, good music and clean decorations, tables and floors. The menu and vibes make you feel like you’re in Lebanon. Cons : What is the point of having so much staff if they don’t offer any service? There were over 10+ employees facing the terrace to serve everyone. After ordering our food and shisha nobody ever came back to see us. We had to stop someone to get drinks, then stop someone else to get a refill on drinks, then stop someone to order desert, then stop someone to get a refill on water. They never cleared any of the empty plates and drinks on our table or on any of the tables around us. It was so frustrating having empty dishes piled up on our table and other tables around us and seeing staff walk empty handed constantly around the tables ignoring the dishes. They never asked if the food was good or anything. They never refilled the waters. To top it off, our table was filthy when we sat on it. Dust and dead bugs all over. We wiped it ourselves with napkins because it was impossible to flag any employees down. Super disappointed with the service, the only place in mtl/Laval that’s over staffed yet nobody is actually working. Super grossed out by the service and really sad because this place could’ve been the best in the area if it wasn’t for the lazy staff. I work in service, it is really not that hard to be proactive and to be polite.
Amazing food, great costumer Service. The waiter was very knowledgeable in regards to all dishes being served. Will definitely visit again!
