We are a family that was born, raised and cornbread fed from the south! Reading the reviews I was very excited about trying this place out. We ordered the fried catfish plate with fries and slaw. Now, the food was fresh and hot which is a plus! The fish had no seasoning which means NO TASTE! The fries and slaw were good but you can’t really go wrong with those two. My daughter ordered the “fried shrimp” plate! Chile, I’m 41 years old and we’re a Military family so we’ve traveled and ate all over the US. NEVER have I EVER seen “fried shrimp” like this before. Who fries shrimp that is still shelled…. What in the world! The picture on the left is what fried shrimp suppose to look like! The picture on the right is Lutfi’s version of fried shrimp. It’s not a deal breaker BUT your NOT serving “fried shrimp.” Overall
Second time patronizing this place and the food is delicious. The service is friendly and the atmosphere is pleasing. Nothing like the action of a Soul Food kitchen with some Blues in the background. Reminded me of being back home in the Chi.Food: 5/5

If you're in search for fried catfish in Omaha, this is your spot. The food is always served hot and generous. This is definitely the place my parents frequent for their catfish fix. Their fried okra also hits the spot. Give Lufti's a try, you won't be disappointed!
Fresh, fast, tasty fried catfish. Friendly service. Generous portions. Sides of macaroni and fried okra were bland. Comes with bread slices. I would get the fish again. Not greasy and nice spicy seasoning. I recommend to call in your order. It was ready by the time we got there.
I like their catfish dinner with fries and slaw.. Haven't tried anything else. Normally I go through the drive thru, but this last time I had to go in because no one ever came to the window. That doesn't usually happen though.Food: 4/5
This was my THIRD visit. My second one wasn't so...well. But this visit, earned 5 stars. I came for tilapia. I left with whiting, shrimp, and the tilapia. The food was right on with flavor and seasoning. I also took a sample of the smoked chicken. You can definitely taste the intended flavor in them! I drove an hour to get here. Today was worth the trip!
Our 1st time going here. I ordered the fried catfish with coleslaw & green beans. My lovely wife ordered the blacken shrimp with mac- n -cheese & coleslaw. The catfish was delicious. It was hot & fresh. The coleslaw was creamy & good. I wasn't a fan of the green beans. My wife really liked the shrimp. She said it was delicious. She also liked the coleslaw. Wasn't a fan of the mac- n -cheese. The staff was very nice & friendly. We will try it again in the near future.
This might be the best fried fish in Omaha. I've been driving by this place for weeks before I finally decided to stop. They offer a great selection of fried fish as well as sides. Carry out or delivery only. I got the half dinner cat fish with hush puppies and green beans. Absolutely amazing food. Perfectly seasoned fish batter and perfectly cooked. I'll be back very soon!
I don't know what happened but that food is normally the bomb bomb diggity it must have been a different person cooking it tonight it had to be because normally when I go there the food is delicious I'm just not feeling it tonight I don't know and I forgot the shrimp is blackened blackened shrimp you know I normally like just regular fried shrimp and I got one in the shrimp dinners and I had got the catfish dinner and I love catfish I don't know if the grease need to be changed or what but I wasn't feeling it tonight but the Strawberry Shortcake is the ball and the chocolate yeah the cake is yeah honey I just skip the dinner and went straight to the dessert I'll be glad when they get some what is peach cobbler man that's what's up
